Ginnja or The R&R Express

Ted Ginn is the leader of the receiving corps, besides Greg Camarillo. Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams are the leaders of the running game. They are three of the most important players on this team. But, which is better? The running game or the receving game? They both are at the top of their game at this point in the season. Ted Ginn has been a dissapointment until this season, while Ronnie and Ricky have been regular leaders.

My  question to you: Who is going to make more of a difference in the game against the Buffalo Bills: Ginnaja or the R&R Express?

Greg Camarillo

I love this guy, I have to tell you. The courage to keep going after what he wants. And then, to have that dream come true.

Greg was signed with San Diego as an undrafted college free agent. on May 16, 2005. He was waived on September 3, 2005 and then signed to the Chargers' practice squad on September 5. Was re-signed by the club on January 3, 2006. Then was awarded off waivers to Miami from San Diego on September 3, 2007.

In two seasons on an NFL active roster, Greg has shown his knack, not only for the big play, but also as a key contributor on special teams.

On Nov. 26, Greg was put on the injured reserve with an ACL tear in his left knee. He will be out the remainder of the season. Greg suffered the injury on Nov. 23 against New England. He finished the season with 55 catches for 613 yards and two touchdowns. At the time of his injury, he led the Dolphins in receptions and reception yardage and ranked tenth in the AFC in receptions.

Greg was a four-year letterman at Stanford(2001-2004) He was a three time Academic All-Pac-10 Conderence selection.

We all hope you feel better Greg, and expect to see you next season ready to play some football.

Yeremiah Bell

Here is another great player on the Miami Dolphins roster, that it seems to me, people don't really notice. Yeremiah Bell. A great overall player I think. Tied for the team lead with seven tackles in the Week 13 win at St. Louis.

Here are some of his key stats: 92 total tackles this season. 3 forced fumbles. He has climbed the DB ranks this season. I consider him a No. 1 option at his position right now. He is ranked No. 4 in the NFL so far for tackles. He doesn't have any interceptions yet this season, so I would like to see more of those. But still, he is a great player on this team. Lets go Dolphins!

Remainder of Dolphins Season

First, we lose Greg Camarillo, our best wide receiver. Then we lose Justin Smiley, one of they key components alongside Jake Long on the O-Line. The Dolphins beat the Rams today, but it was not entertaining. We remain in tenuous contention for an AFC playoff spot. Miami played well today. They only scored one touchdown though. Against one of the worst defenses in the NFL. They kept the Rams out of the end zone, sure. They allowed four long scoring drives though. The Dolphins should be happy that Marc Bulger went from Pro Bowl material to toilet bowl caliber. Bulger threw three interceptions. Chad Pennington can account for a lot of passing yards when he really needs it. But passing is not really the D-Phins strength. With Greg Camarillo out and Jake Long with a sprained ankle, Miami is likely to run. The Rams are not a solid pass defense, ranking 21st in the NFL. But that is still better than their run defense.  Trent Green played quarterback last week, because Mark Bulger had a concussion. It was a disaster. He threw four interceptions, and had a passer rating 37.4. So lets hope the D-Phins learn from this dissapointing win, and win the remainder of their season.

Josh Beckett

The Red Sox have always been a good team. Is Josh Beckett still as good as he used to be? Stats point towards him decreasing, but we all know he is still good. He doesn't pitch as many innings as he used to 1 and 2 years ago. He is 28 years old, which means he is getting closer and closer to 30. His  ERA is higher, although he is allowing less hits and runs. Earned runs are higher then they used to be, and more home runs for the other team when he starts. So my question to you: Is Josh Beckett as good as he used to be, or has he decreased over the years?

Jake Long: Right Decision?....Or Wrong?

In the first overall pick of the 2008 NFL Draft, Jake Long was drafted by the Miami Dolphins. Everybody knows Jake Long is a great player and everything....but is he really the right decision for a growing franchise?

The last few years, the Miami Dolphins have been terrible. But this year they have started something new. They are growing again. They're going to be a contender in the next few years, I know it. But was drafting Jake Long really the right decision? I mean the O-Line is important...but there are other immediate problems that REALLY need to be fixed. I'm talking about special teams. Flat out, they're horrible. They make such bad plays, I  can barely watch them be totally destroyed on special teams. That's why I'm saying, maybe it could have been a good decision to work on special teams instead of the O-Line in the draft. That's all I wanted to say. Thanks for reading. Please comment.

Chad Pennington:or Chad Henne?

The D-Phins are a growing team, and we all know that. They already have six times the number of wins as we did last year. That is true progress. We, as the Miami Dolphins fans, know last season was really a low point for everyone. No one was working hard on the team, because they didn't think it was worth it. But this season, the D-Phins made a concious effort to win some games this season, and potentially make the playoffs. But there always has been one position the Miami Dolphins have had trouble with. Quarterback. Since Dan Marino, they have had no good quarterbacks. And that was a big reason why the D-Phins went no where. But this season, we have a reason to be happy again. We have decent quarterbacks. Two of them in fact. And their names are Chad and Chad. God bless those two men. Without them, we would be no where AGAIN. I have got to say, Bill Parcells made the right choice when he signed Chad Pennington and drafted Chad Henne. One has experience from 10+ years in the NFL I think. One is fresh out of college with the Michagan Wolverines, ready to be a starter.

And now I turn this over to you. They are both fantastic quarterbacks in my opinion. At this moment, I want to ask you if you think Chad Pennington or Chad Henne should start for the D-Phins. Go ahead. Please comment.
