that would make a 53 man roster. i have ten players total that we must draft and pick up through free agency.

overall i think that our team only needs to build depth through the draft and free agency. the main priority is resigning keith bullick or we will suffer from the lack of resigning him like we did haynesworth this year. he may be getting old, but he still has the IT factor and is our leader on defense. kevin mawae has already mentioned that he will likely stay in the game a little while longer so i look for him to play until he is forty. i said brett kern over aj trapasso because he is a better holder and is generating chemistry with bironas this year. plus he is doing pretty well punting for us. our kick return and coverage units have got to get better, this is an absolute must. some might say we are in desperate need of a defensive lineman but i think the guys we have are doing well enough to force pressure, especially having another year together. a few cuts are gonna be hard but necessary in my opinion. lendale white, kyle vandenbosch, and even eugene amano could generate some great draft picks. we have to play it smart. we must get younger especially on defense. i think we have a solid team and overall only need to make a few changes. some of the players i have elected to keep our really gonna have to step up next year to show that they can stick around. but keeping most of the guys together will only make them better versus splitting them up.

anyways this is my two cents on what we should do going into next year. leave your comments as i'm sure i will have plenty disagree with me, especially on cutting lendale white and kyle vandenbosh.

Music City Miracles The present is nice, but what about the future?

i just wanted to make a post to talk about the future of the titans. mostly with player personnel. i wanted to ask my fellow titans fans for their input on if we should resign smash after this year. i just watched a video over on the titans official website where fisher was doing an interview with steve mariuchi and he said lendale was just sick this week and that fisher has plans to get him more involved in upcoming games. Do you think it's wise to take away carries from a red hot chris johnson right now? javon ringer has looked promising when given opportunities and could possibly suffice as the back up to cj. i personally think teams would fear cj and ringer more than cj and lendale. i think with the weight loss white isn't the same back. but to be fair, he hasnt had much of an opportunity this year. also i just wanted to ask what we should address in the draft next year from what we have seen. does vy bring enough to the table to be our franchise qb? i personally think i need to see a couple more consistent games like he has been playing to make me a complete believer in him, but i hope he does. is our d line solid enough that we dont need any replacements? what about our current o line? mawae may be good but it looks like he will retire after this year. also is the rest of our o line depth sufficient enough? do we need more depth at db? or are we ok with the starters we have and the rookies coming back. we really seemed to have found a gem in free agency with rod hood. it still amazes me how he was out on the streets and not signed with a team. what about our lb corps. tulloch, mcrath, and thorton appear to all be solid for the future. but should we pay an aging keith bullick who appears to still have the it factor? and in my opinion our main two concerns wr and return specialists. yea britt looks promising and cook supposedely presents good match ups cuz of speed. but gage is a hot and cold reciever. washington appears to only get a td every now and then but hasn't really shown a lot of potential to be the home run hitter we had hoped for. i personally think edison could potentially be a solid choice for the future. but i doubt he will get any opportunities in real time games before gage returns. hawkins i really don't know much about other than he never gets the ball, whether it's cuz he is always covered well or just can't get enough separation. crump is getting older and i think is just taking up roster space. scaife is one of vinces favorite targets, so if we move forward with vince, we should hold onto him i think. craig stevens is an excellent blocker but might serve better on the practice squad cuz he has little relevance on real time games, at least that i have noticed. and returning pearman only appears to be "safe" but not very effective. we need someone who other teams dont want to kick the ball to. leave your comments please.

sorry about the long post, i just got to ranting, lol.

Music City Miracles This team seems to have grown apathetic

i wish we knew more about what was going on behind closed doors. Some people think that jeff fisher has already been told he is done after this year when he met with bud adams in houston. seems like this behind closed door stuff is getting sour quick. with fisher wearing manning jerseys and insisting collins play despite the fact that the owner is well known for loving vince young so much. it does almost seem like there is most definitely something going on that we don't know about. i mean we're 0-6.... but that's not as big a deal as the fact that we have got blown out the last 3 games. has anyone else noticed that our team has gotten worse and worse as the year is progressing. i mean we took the previous year super bowl champions to overtime at their house. then we lost by a fg to the texans. then we lost by just a td to the jets. then we got blown out by a not so good jaguars team. then we got expectedly blown out by the colts, but even worse than the previous week. then we set records on last weeks blow out to the patriots. what's really strange is despite being last in pass defense, having horrible special teams all around, and having horrible offensive production up to this point, the same coaching staff is staying in tact. and while i watch the titans play it seems like they have no idea what's going on. like no one seems to care and almost like they act like they didn't prepare well enough for the game. as a titans fan i just hope that next year we start out completely fresh. there are only a few players on this team, i would like to see stick around. and i think the entire coaching staff must go. in my opinion the best thing that could happen to this titans organization would be for bud adams to sell the franchise. i don't like the way he is going about the season this year. changes should have been made this off week. and it appeared none were made that i know about. no trades, no coaching changes at all, no nothing. and fisher is sounding like he isn't gonna change personnel up to much either. just gotta practice more he says. i just don't sense any fight or will to win in this organization anymore. hopefully we will address these issues this off season and get back on track soon.

please leave ur opinion on this subject.

Music City Miracles Tired of Throw-back Jerseys

Is it just me or is everyone else tired of seeing all these teams sporting their throw-back jerseys. Why are we seeing so many teams sporting them every week. I think the oiler uniforms are hideous. These style of jerseys are old for a reason. Not to mention how unlucky it has been so far. I just figured that they would be wearing them just once or twice this year. But jeez it's every week we are seeing these ugly ass uniforms.

Music City Miracles Trade for Brady Quinn?

i'm just curious about what my other fellow titans fans think. even though i know it's not gonna happen in a million years, do you think that trading for brady quinn would be a good idea? i mean i know we cant get much worse than we are, but besides that does anyone think that he would thrive here in tennessee. and if u are interested in this at all discuss who or what we would or would not trade to try getting him.
