I was born in Erie, Pa, equally distant from the Bills, Browns, and Steelers. As a very young man dad and I went to Bills games but I switched to the Browns in time to watch the Brian Sipe then Bernie Kosar era. I hate the Steelers but love my Steeler friends. To me, Vic Ketchman is a typical Steeler fan, you can always tell one, you just can't tell him much.

Moving to Jacksonville in 2005, I bought season tickets and watched the best defensive football in 2006. The Jaguars won me over. In 2007, the running game was stunning and won me over again. I am staying with them.

I married Sandra in August, 2008 and she is wonderful.

To paraphrase Garrett Morris, "Jacksonville been berry berry good to me".

Holt showed his veteran leadership traits in the fourth quarter. Immediately after Leonard Little intercepted a Garrard pass and returned it for a touchdown to give the Rams a 17-13 in the fourth quarter, Holt called the offensive unit together on the sideline. "I just did what I thought a leader should do," Holt said. "It was a perfect time for them to be called up and talked to about what we needed to do in order to win the ball game. If we want to be an elite team, a championship team, we have to execute in critical times. That’s basically what I told them." The Jaguars responded to Holt’s words by putting together a 9-play, 75-yard drive to reclaim the lead. Garrard especially appreciated Holt’s action. "The quarterback doesn’t always have to do those things," Garrard said. "To have somebody like that here, I’ve been telling you all along, it’s great and this offensive team needs it. I’m very happy for Torry and what he did.
