Remember when the rangers used to play this at the garden right before game time in the 90's.... ah to be young again... Haha, that is all..... Also, anyone happen to have the audio track of the old rangers Game Night? I still hate the new song and intro to the new Rangers Game Night... and also hate the addition of Ken Daneyko, haha.  Anyone else have other old rangers songs or garden rituals?  This season sucks, might as well pretend we had the good old days

Veteran defenseman Chris Chelios was recently offered an AHL contract to play for the Rangers' Hartford affiliate, the New York Post reports.

Chelios, who opted to sign with the Chicago Wolves for family reasons, rejected the offer but would be interested in playing for the Rangers if they decide to add an experienced player to their blueline.

"We'd talked a number of times over the summer, and I talked to Torts [head coach John Tortorella] at the U.S. Olympic evaluation camp, but they told me the Rangers were going in a different direction with their kids," Chelios told The Post. "I see that their guys are off to a good start, but if they're looking for veteran help down the road, I'd love to play there."

According to the Post, the Rangers will be monitoring Chelios, as they'll likely look to add a seventh defenseman later in the season.

"I don't think I've ever had a bad game at Madison Square Garden," said Chelios. "If the Rangers need help and are interested, Chicago shouldn't be too far away for them to come take a look."

Not sure if you guy's heard about this but what do you think.. the article talks about how torts thinks girardi isn't playing well enough for his standards... so let me know what you guys think... also, they're going to sign semenov to ah... after the game sunday... I think its pretty evident that our defense can be exposed pretty bad.. I only saw the first and staal looked bad and so did rozsival (shocker haha)... unsure how this season is going to go
