GREEN OUT in Miami - New Year's game
Hello Jet fans from all over the country. I am writing from the heart of fish country. Yes I am a jet fan in Dolphin land. Anyways I help run the South Florida Jet’s Fan Club and we are working on getting any and all Jet fans who want to go the New Year’s game down here.
Oh and to the moderators of this site, I did run this by John B first and he said he was ok with it.

Haslem happy he picked the Heat over the Mavs.
I bet he's happy about his Decision!
The view from behind enemy lines.
Hello all, I wanted to take this time to introduce myself to your blog. Yes I am a Heat fan, and no I am not here to talk thrash (well maybe a little if we win lol). Seriously though I think this should make for an interesting series, one that most likely will last for a couple of weeks with many twists and turns. So hopefully I can get some give and take with you guys and have some intelligent conversation.
Green and White Party
Just a little update on what is going on behind enemy lines. The South Florida Jet's Fan Club is having a Green and White Party this Thursday in conjunction with draft day. Here is the Facebook link to the party https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=164894810234014
Basically it is just us Jet fan's here in the land of sushi, getting to gether and talking about our second favorite subject, The Jet's. Just looking to have fun, planning on having drinks, playing games, have a few drinks, talking draft, having a few drinks, making fun of the dolphins, having a few drinks, some Jet trivia, and of course having some adult beverages.
If you are in the South Florida area feel free to come by. If not I will try to post pictures so you can see that there is in fact intelligent life down this way. Oh and if any of you anywhere around the country want to come down here look us up for some good Jet hospitality. Especially if you are down for the game on New Years. It is my dream to have a GREEN OUT for that game.
Go Jets!!!
We're bad, we're nationwide. Reactions on Folk's game winning kick.
The view from the other side
Hey guys, not here to talk crap but to congratulate you guys. Let's face it this game was a great game to watch, a great game to discuss, and a great game to participate in as fans. The results were good for me, not so good for you, but in the end both teams played admirably and thus we got another great game in this series.
Just in to ESPN 1050 - Revis limited in practice because of a tight hamstring.
Of course keeping fingers crossed that it is just a precautionary thing.
Bill Parcells stepping down
WQAM Radio in South Florida says that the Tuna is stepping down and will now only be a consultant. Ireland (the master interviewer, he) will tak over all football operations.
Bill is smart. He knows when to leave a sinking ship lol
Jet's depth chart on Hard Knocks
Some interesting things apparently on Hard Knocks concerning the final 53.
Jets road record 2010
So as our beloved Rex Ryan has said the goal for the 2010 New York Jets is winning the Super Bowl, nothing else will do. Easy to say, harder to do! What steps will the team need to accomplish to get us to that glorious moment. For one we need to be at the very least a very good road team. What do I mean by a very good team, well a team that win’s 75% of its games played on the road.
Tweeted notes about today's scrimage
Ok so was trying to keep up with the goings-on at the Green & White scrimage today/ I didn't see anything on here so went to good old twitter. The following would be some notes, A bit scrambled as you can imagine. Make of it as you will.
Sanchez on McKnight (KLAC)- "He had a rough first weekend, but from what I hear, he showed flashes. I don’t think he was in the very best shape, and I know he was real nervous. I texted back and forth with him, and he was feeling some nerves. He felt like he almost had to do too much. So once he settled down by Sunday, he got his act together and had a better practice. But he’ll be just fine."
Jets Confidential - Craig Thomas
Wilson was a unanimous decision
Nice to know everyone was on board..
Positive vibes from Leon?
Looks like Leon is finally saying the right things. Well truth be told we haven't heard from him but from his agent. Glad things are settled on this issue although I know some of you wish he was traded.
Cotchery in the Slot?
Ok you guys are way smarter than me so I wanted your opinions after the news that we have Santonio Holmes in our stable of wide receivers. Well assuming his suspension isn't a biggie, and now that we have Edwards throughout the camp I think it is safe to say we are secure at WR. My first question is where do you see Cotch playing? Is the slot something you can envision him taking and better yet excelling in?
Myron Rolle
Something I got from our crosstown cousins on someone I think might make a good pick later in the draft.
And another classy dol-fan post
http://www.thephinsider.com/2010/3/14/1372543/rex-ryan-had-lapband-surgery
I understand not liking your rivals coach, God knows my hatred for Shula still lingers years later. But at some point doesn't human decency take over when health issues are at stake. Yes Ryan is fat. More the point he is borderline obese. Man goes and gets it corrected and this is what fans down here are saying. And people wonder why I say they are the most classless, ignorant fans around.

Murrell to the Pats
http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast - Patriots owner Robert Kraft told Boston sports radio station WEEI on Tuesday they've reached terms with free-agent Jets defensive end Marques Murrell, but that's a depth signing. Murrell has zero NFL starts in three seasons. Various outlets have reported the Patriots are close to signing St. Louis Rams tight end Daniel Fells.
Weatherford to Punt this weekend
Well that is one problem solved. Phew!
Kris Jenkins could have been playing?
Listening to a Jet's podcast and in an interview with Jenkins he says he is "disgruntled" since he feels at this point that he could be playing but since he was put on IR that will not happened. Could you imagine if we had him there. Damn dangerous.
However he is still out there rehabbing and being the biggest Jet fan out there. Although he will not be allowed on the sidelines this Saturday because of the knee and in case he needs to get out of the way quickly.
Playoff scenarion - 3rd seed?
Ok so maybe wishful thinking, but tis the season for miracles:
