Check out this article.  This kid is a local Syracuse kid.  He is already a beast and is only 15 years old.  The consensus #1 pick in his class already and right in the Orangemens backyard.   He played high school basketball with incoming freshmen Brandon Triche.  They could reunite during Triche senior season. I hope we get this kid!

In the regional game, Russell Smith of Archbishop Molloy (Briarwood) earned co-MVP honors with 27 points, making 10 of 17 shots as the City team outscored the Suburban, 129-120. With the score tied at 53 after the first half, the teams combined for 143 points in the second stanza.

Syracuse-bound Brandon Triche of Jamesville-Dewitt (Dewitt, N.Y.), a co-MVP, tossed in a game-high 33 points for Suburban.

Let me start by saying that I am sorry to see the season end but we had a great run and I hope everyone comes back.  Anyone know anywhere I can get the practice jersey that Syracuse uses?  Ive have looked online and in the bookstore and cant find it anywhere.  I am hoping it not a players only thing.  I saw that OU had the exact same type of practice jersey too.  Where can we get these things.  Don't make me steal AO's off his back.

Wondering how many Cuse faithful are heading down to the game this weekend? I am part of a group  of about 90 people from Syracuse area and beyong going down to game. We will be tailgating in parking lot "F" at Wachovia Center.  I am sure you will see the sea of Orange as you arrive.  This an optimal location because it is right in-between the basketball arena and McFadden's.  McFadden's, for those who do not know, is the on site bar.   LETS GO CUSE!
