On the Forecheck 10,581 Really?

Wow is all I can really say about what I saw tonight on and off the ice. Off the Ice 10,581 really? Seriously? After this Predators team has played their way into 2nd in the Central and 6th in the West. I am astonished that this city of 600,000 plus and a Metro Statistical Area of over 1.5 million cant seem to find 17,000 plus to fill the Arena for a great team. Its not like tickets are expensive or hard to come by. Speaking of which thank you to all the Calgary fans who bought tickets and who put their money into our economy all in support of the Flames. So my question is: Whats it going to take to support two winning teams in Nashville? I don't know the answer but I do know the outcome and stigma that attaches to a city that cant support a winning team and they leave. Its really just dollars and cents you do the math. On the Ice probably a good thing only 10,000 were there to watch the Predators struggle with a very sound and potent Calgary team. It was not pretty to watch but the guys will rebound from this loss. Got to run thanks for reading my vent of tonight's game.

On the Forecheck Tonight's Games

Short and to the point, my excitement and enthusiasm for tonight's game with the Red Wings is tempered by concerns over attendance for this National TV broadcast game. Its my belief that Nashville can support two successful sports teams, we have shown glimmers at times, but I believe tonight is an important event in the Predators time line. Not just the importance of the game itself, but the importance of this organization seeing an energized fan base fill the Sommet center at a time when our team is really playing well and winning games not to mention playing a team the caliber of the Wings. Its my hope that we will have a full house of Predator fans who will be loud and proud and help this team win number six in a row tonight. Remember game time is 6 pm central.

Lets Go Preds and Lets Go TItans
