Getcha Kings Tickets!!! Face Value, the best Value!
Four Seats, Section 112, Row G, $125/Seat/Game, Parking Pass $15
Email me directly for info, If my email address isn't accessible ill post it...
My Pops has enlisted my services in helping him unload some of his premium Kings tickets for the low low price of face value starting with the the Atlanta game a week from Wednesday. The seats are roughly seven rows back (maybe 10 dependant upon the number of AA BB etc. they have) in the corner behind the visiting bench. The last time I was home to see a game was Artest's debut, so its been a while, but the seats are awesome and the dudes look ginormous up close.
Like Section, its first come first serve.
He has 4 tickets for each of the games below but will sell in groups of 2 tickets. The seats are on the end of that upside down triangle so there are only 6 seats in the row which makes it easy to get in and out.
We have Mike Bibby, Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose in November. The Ghost of Ricky Rubio, Gil Arenas (just kidding he will probably be hurt), Melo and 85 million dollars worth of Elton Brand in December. That's all before the end of the decade! After the jump see what is in store next decade...
Summer of Hedo?
Ok, I realize I am putting the cart before the horse here, BUT, if the Kings can pull off any of the aforementioned salary dump trades (getting rid of brad, k9 (woof!), salmons, beno, whatever) and clear some cap space for this summer, why not make a run at brother hedo?
I really don't see the Kings being any type of a player in the 2010 bonanza, in fact all I really see happening is the Kings taking a few swings and missing at bigtime free agents, the Maloofs getting frustrated and saying "fine just take whoever's left" and the Kings paying 15 million to Joel Prizbella or some other idiot.
With that logic, this summer should be the Kings makeover summer. Again, this is presupposing we can clear a bunch of space in the next two weeks. But again, if we could add Hedo and a point guard while managing to dump 20 mil in salary (wishful thinking on a starbury deal) we would still have room to add someone else.
Questions and comments of course welcome, but first I am posing one question for the field: How much do you think Hedo will command on the free agent market this summer?
Peaches in the Jungle??
Say it ain't so, I just heard that everyone's favorite fruit has been filling in for Jim Rome lately. Did anyone hear this? Does anyone know how I can download it? Does he completely mail it in like he has been doing for the last ten years on KHTK? I know we are in the midst of analysing draft prospects right now but this is something that couldn't have slipped under the sactown royalty radar.

Chengdu Earthquake
I know this is way off topic for this forum but I just wanted to let everyone know that I am going tomorrow to Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China to help with the earthquake relief efforts and am looking for an existing blog that I can use for posting stories as well as pictures. It can't be a blogspot blog as that is blocked in China but anything else would be great. If anybody knows of anything or has ideas let me know.
Thanks.

Chinese Basketball, It's Faaaantastic
(Reader Travis Mays Hayes lives in China. These are his notes on attending a playoff series for the Chinese Basketball Association. Enjoy. -- TZ)
So I live in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, which is 50 miles inland from Shanghai. For some reason the Jiangsu Dragons (normally play in a city 2 hours away called Nanjing) decided to play their playoff games in Suzhou. Of course myself and my friend Chico (who is called that because he went to Chico) got tickets and last Friday and Sunday night went to games 1 and 2 of a best-of-five, conference finals series.
I'm the jerk here
I'll take credit where its due, and sometimes I'll even take credit where its not due, but in this case I will wholly deny credit for something I found on sactown royalty and have been using as my computer's wall paper ever since.
I'm the asshole who orginally emailed a friend the "better than a cold snow cone at a little league baseball game" picture of the Kings flipping off the 2002-3 season. He sent it to a friend wrongly crediting me, who posted it on his personal hoops site and eventually got it picked up by deadspin today.
I emailed the picture a couple months ago I believe, didn't think this would happen. TZ your the man. Pookeyguru, whatever, I guess your tight. Sign man blows.
