No one else in my family are 'Phans, as they are from PA. I grew up in Denver, CO, and have never been within 200 miles of Miami. I don't know what brought me to the Phins, but I have been a fan since I was about three, or four. First QB I remember was the combo of David Woodley, and Don Strock ( I never understood why Strock wasn't the starter, since he kept coming in part way through, and winning us games). Favorite player? Crash Jensen. Player who would never ever, under any circumstances get cut? Greg Camarillo. I love him like family.

While I love Dan, and feel he was the most talented passer I have ever seen, I believe he was a main reason we never went all the way. We didn't have 1000 yard rushers because Dan couldn't hit his hand off spots fast enough to give the RB time to hit the holes. He also showed no interest in developing that timing. He, like Favre, would prefer to audible out of running plays. Some cite his lack of a top ten D, but forget that we usually lost the time of possession battle by a good bit. Hard to keep a D fresh, especially towards the end of the season (before the bye week era, btw), when you can't keep the ball away from the opponent. You gotta run the ball to control TOP.
