Sheldon Ocker's article  this morning is a nice review about the Indians' (good) financial situation and what it means for the club.  A nice read.

One thing that caught my eye... Ocker thinks that it is still possible that the Tribe has the resources to resign CC--although its a long shot. 

Another issue... does anyone here think it is time to give Garko an extension? I'm not a true Garko believer yet. (I have no empirical reason for this... my irrational gut instinct doesn't have faith in his long-term value.)

Its about time that someone in the media actually analyze what the Dolans' have done--and what they can reasonably do--for the team.  Nothing is more inane the hearing some hack rant about how cheap our owner is.
