NHL probing into the conduct of the Coyotes
Well, we will see if this goes anywhere but I am glad. The end of a playoff game is supposed to be met with professionalism not childish anger.
Awesome article on Kopitar
This actually a very cool look in Kopitars rise. Short, but still a good read.
Hanzal facing discipline?
What about Smith?
Pretty cool look into Quick
Bet you didnt know Quick was a big hip hop fan did ya?
Pac West Eternal Thread #1 We are a go! Maybe?
This is my first major fan post here and hopefully it goes over well. I thought I would give this a try as an anything goes kind of post. Kind of spark some heated debates or post mocking pics of the Canucks. We can talk about whatever here but keep it cool so we can get a feel for how it goes. Once we see how it is, feel free to let loose.
Rule #1 - Keep it sane. This is a free for all thread but lets not get too crazy especially since this is the first one.
Rule #2 - All Pictures and .Gifs Must Have Subject Lines. Funny ones are always the best.
Rule #3 - Shun anyone acting like a turd
-Y'all go ahead and decide who acts douchey and who doesn't. We will direct that person to the nearest mental institution.
Rule #4 - Be cool, man. No temper tantrums. No "threadbombing" -No need to lose your head.
Rule #5 - All people are accepted. -This is a Pac West thread. We don't judge or attack based on who roots for what team. All Kings, Sharks, Ducks, Stars, and I guess Coyotes fans can get up all in this business. Any team really. Just don't get too trolly.

What exactly qualifies Philadelphia as classless?
Ok so this is my first fan post so hopefully it fits the bill when it comes to one of these. I’ve been pretty active here and wanted to try and determine what exactly qualifies the city of Philly as being classless. A little background on me, I have never been to Philadelphia, I’m born and raised on the West coast but have always been fascinated with Philly since I was young. I plan to visit and catch a home game this year and hopefully many more times after. To me Philly seems like a pretty inviting place and has one of the most passionate fan bases in the States not to mention how the city has tried to improve in the likes of others sports that aren’t central to the US’s big three. I’ve seen this insult come up quite a bit, mostly from our rivals as well as the supposed journalists who quote the Santa Clause incident, batteries, etc.
What I would like is to figure out where this claim of classlessness comes from and what exactly is the great qualifier that cities such as New York, Dallas, or any other city for that matter to label Philly as such. I bring up New York specifically as I was perusing a few threads over at BBV (they are fun for the extreme homerism that goes on over there) but I noticed that term come up in regards to McNabb and the top 100. To give props to a BGN’er over here Rockstaar02 tried to defend but got immediately lambasted over there for being a troll. No surprise really, but then the topic of McNabb being a class act in a classless city was brought up.
So to sum it up I would actually like, and hopefully this isn’t asking too much, a well-articulated argument as to why Philly is classless versus other cities. I would love the involvement of some of the new "residents" over here from the New York, Washington, etc. to help clear this up.
To me the very act of calling another person, city or whatever is classless in itself as "class" is nothing but a relative term given to another to categorize them, usually into something less.
Hopefully, I get some intelligent answers, or maybe I’ll just get the dreaded "O".
New rules on Defenseless players
Oh man, Im really not liking the first one.
LT is a dirtbag!
Well chock this up with all his many years of loving coke! Hahah.
Nice look at Vick
Slow news days so anything Eagles is always a plus
Do you think this person will be treated the same as Vick
This may or may not be the correct forum but my question is what do you think will happen to this person? Im keeping my opinion on this issue and Vick to see what forum users think of this. Do you think the same type of punishment will be adhered to (minus the federal gambling charges)?
I would just like to see what people think of this. If this is out of line or not the correct forum for this (since we all have a vested interest in Vick, I thought people would like to see this), please feel free to take it down.
Vick wants to stay with Philly to win it all
I would have to agree with him, I think Philly is a great fit especially with the rapport he has going with the team.
Shurmer to be HC of Browns
Well it looks like MM isnt going to the Brown's and maybe anywhere else anytime soon.
Vick and the QB guru
Under the Hippocratic Oath, MDs follow three simple words -- do no harm. But Eagles offensive coordinator and long-time quarterbacks specialist, Marty Mornhinweg, puts his patients through as much pain as he possibly can to cure them. With rigorous drills and repetition as his medicine, supreme discipline, steadfast film study, and super-human conditioning are what he’s always prescribed to. And with a client roster that includes the likes of Steve Young, Jeff Garcia, Donovan McNabb, and Brett Favre -- who he helped win a Super Bowl and league MVP -- Mornhinweg’s earned a reputation throughout the NFL as a sort of guru when it comes to the position.
His most recent project -- Michael Vick.
The Kovi Saga is over...
Looks like the Kovi saga is done as he has signed with the Devils. Well lets see what the Devils are going to do and maybe this will open up the talks about Gagne? Who knows. What do you guys all think is going to happen now? It kind of sucks that the Kings didnt pull this one but lets see what DL has up his sleeve now.
Done
Looks like its all over for Kovi
Alright a little help on this
Alright, so I am planning to hit the Kings opening game up in Vancouver on Oct 9th as I am up here in the PNW. I am hoping that I can get some feedback as to where is the best place to catch the action in the Canucks arena. Ive never been there and when tickets become available I want to know which ones I to grab right away. Oh and if there are going to be any other Kings fan in town for the game, maybe we can take it over (probably not, but worth a try). Your help is appreciated!
