So it is the first round of the playoffs and I have a couple decisions to make. I'm in a standard 12 team, non-ppr league.

I could use a little help with the following:

-Jets or Lions defense/special teams

*Jets are playing Philly and Lions are playing Oakland

*Most years defense is an afterthought, but in this league they seem to put up big points.

-Michael Bush or Reggie Bush

*6 pts for a rush/rec TD, 1 pt for each 10 yds, etc...

Thoughts?

I have Gaby Sanchez and while he was pretty solid earlier in the year, he has been pretty bad recently.  I was thinking of dropping him and picking up either Mike Carp or Edwin Encarnacion. I know those guys could cool off pretty quickly, but I am fighting for the playoffs here in my 10 team mixed league. Hahaha

Anyone out there on the board that can offer some advice before I hae to set my lineup this afternoon?

In his May revise to his budget proposal today, Governor Brown called for the sale of the Coliseum.  This is excellent news.  Hopefully USC is able to snatch it up without a problem.

Sell underutilized state properties. The revised budget proposes the sale of state-owned properties like the Los Angeles Coliseum, the Montclair Golf Course in Oakland, the Capital Area Development Authority in Sacramento and the Ramirez Canyon property in Southern California. These properties serve no state function and should be sold off to pay debt.

Alex Gordon has become available in my weekly head to head league. If I were to pick him up I would need to drop either Carlos Beltran (my least productive outfielder) or Placido Polanco (my utility guy).  I was leaning toward dropping Beltran, as he has the injury history and is not in as potent a lineup.  Does anyone have any thoughts on who would be the one to drop? Or should I simply stand pat.
