My apologies in advance...
Pretty sure you're all sick and tired of all the Tebow crap... But im not here to lay down opinion's just the facts..
Over time we have seen gimmick plays/forms of playing.. ie. The 46 D . Wild Cat, and Im sure if I invested more brain power there are better examples.... These things were game changers . They had to be addressed .and were..
Moving on .. How has the league adjusted to Timmy in 2011's final 6 games..
=

=
W . VS Bears13 -10. In OT He beats Calib Hanie .. Comp. 52.5% of passes and 49 rushing yds and is for ever in debt to M Barber.
L . VS NE 23 -41 . Gets blasted by Brady and Co. Comp. 50% and 93 rushing yds.Denver D starting to break down from being on the field so much ,due to the continued ineptitude of their QB for the 1st 3 Qs of every game.
L . VS Bills 14- 40 . Buffalo Truly exposes Tebow. Comp. 43,3% 1TD - 4 Int and 43 rushing yds.
L . VS KC 3- 7 . Stifling D by the Chiefs in this one.. Comp. 27.3% 16 rushing yds.. this was a rematch ,plus Orton gets to say i told u so..Tebow has turned the ball over seven times in Denver’s three-game losing streak..
Playoffs . God answers the Broncos prayers and some how get in...
W . Pitt 29- 23 In OT . 47.6 comp.% 2 TD 0 int. 50 rushing yds. Tebow showed up in this one against a 1 legged BB and a D missing a ton of key players.
L . Pats 10- 45 .34.6 comp.% 13 rushing yds. The Broncos won the coin toss and elected to defer. Bad idea: They never were in the game after that.Denver D seams flat out gassed in this one.. wonder why..

As the season winded down its clear so did Tebows effectiveness......The Tebow fans are saying.. "Tebow only wins " You sure about that?

Dream team 2.0 ?
Yeah that "Dream Team "..... Just Had Sushi at Aji 53 wit the ol lady and Plenty of drinks ensued ....so dont look for an in depth report here.....(Did you know most all "Japanese Sushi restaurants are ran & owned by Chinese ? fact!)
DeMeco Ryans is a good get IMO .... Back to the 4-3 for the big man may be just what he needs from the drop off year he had trying to fit in the 3-4 that Minnie me (Free Bradshaw has a better name for him that escapes me) is now running over there in Houston....
Is this the move the Eagles needed to make to put them on top of the NFC E? :snickers:
Return of the RUN!
Im very hopeful JR/TC will have the run game in full focus when preparing for next yrs roster. Of course that starts with the Oline. But thats for another post ..
This is my plea for Mike Tolbert.. At 5-9 243 he is nothing short of the pounder ! Something we once had in BJ. And though i don't hate our options in Brown , Scott (not seeing a whole lot of vision in this kid) and so on..
I feel this would be a nice get . Not sure i see him demanding big $ but he may be to rich for us .... Why I like him? He can catch, block, Is great on STs and dos something Giant fans haven't seen in yrs from a Giant RB... He can pick up a yard when its most needed!!! can u believe these guys really exist?!! They do!!
This could be a sweet combo in AB and MT .. Both are of shorter stature yet leave a mark every time they hit you.
Plus he can dance better then our guy.. 26 seconds in
mike tolbert does the dougie (via hiphopmonstertv)
What do you guys think ?

Now this is a friendly post. So no brick throwing.
I understand its trendy in these parts to kill Brian Schottenheimer, but not a lot of hate toward Matt Cavanaugh..Wondering why? Maybe I have missed it ..(very possible)
As I see it ,it seems as though the hate is a bit missed placed.. The only thing i see wrong (and maybe harmful ) in Brian Schottenheimer play calling is the Wild cat. It is to soon for young QB trying to gain respect to have to deal with ..Developing of a QB takes more then good players and "good play calling". . You need to convince that whole huddle that you're the MAN ! Handing the ball over to a WR/RB to play QB a few times every game takes that away..IMO
With that Brian Schottenheimer has had a very good career. He took a young Drew Brees and in a short time helped develop him to being a very good QB. His tenure as OC has never been worse then a top 20 Offense.except 2007 when Kellen Clemens ran the O into the ground .
I mean do you guys recall the OCs u had to sit through prior?
This is basically a long winded question , so thanks for dealing...

Back up!!
Lets back off the ledge here fellas.. Not sure there isn't a coach or player we haven't killed this fine day.
Before we start shipping Perry off to Siberia lets wait till after the bye to do it.. Why ? here are my 4 reasons/hopes to the D..
1. Rolle playing the slot is a real problem . first hes not a corner ,ask Arizona. Second, although hes best at making big plays , Perry seems to like him down low, where hes been great in run support.
2. Tuck (fingers crossed) coming back.. This obviously makes our run D better and emproves the pass rush depth .. Although JPP is a absolute freak of nature, lets not underestimate how important it is to have fresh legs later in the game .. Especially early in the season when stamina is low and temps are high, also teams are running no huddle on us and its starting to become trendy.
3. JPP gos back to Right DE shoring up the run D to that side.
4. Justin Tryon! yeah I said it . this is our best slot corner . This also gets Grant (who is starting to look like a real liability in the passing game) off the field. Puts Rolle back into run support (i guess) where he excels.
Well these are my hopes anyway. I really believe this will help Jones more then anybody.. You'll be surprised how good the kid can look again when a brigade of Olinemen aren't leading RBs into the second level..
Now if somebody can talk me off the ledge with regard to the Oline id be much oblige.
Beck's is our .....
I will get back to Beck's later.
Let me first introduce you to our winning Personnel Package (hehe I said Package..Eli you so crazy) .
22 Personnel is 2 TE's, 2 RB's, and a 1 WR.set. And IMO this will be the only affective way to exploit the shortcomings of the Eagle LB's and Safety's. Although sadly we wont get to see "lol Matthews" at Middle backer due to the LB shuffle that Juan Castillo has introduced this week.
This is much like what the Pats use. granted their TEs are a bit better then ours, but none the less.... 3 step quick release drops are a must here. The Eagles can f'ing bring it! just by rushing 4. So the Slot receivers this week most be Our TEs. Becks & Ballard should be able to abuse the Eagle LBs (or the smaller Corners) as they play the run due to our heavy sets.
With Baas being limited in practice this week and Kareem looking less then stella the past 2 weeks I can think of no other way for the G-men to pull this out .
22 Personnel :
Nicks === Ballard LT LG C RG RT Beckum
Bradshaw/BJ Eli Hynoski
Becks is our savior!!
And with Hixon out id love to see Flash Da'Rel Scott active this week. FYI . im sure ill witness none of this ...
My long awaited 53....your welcome.
Had this on another thread .... so i figured, what ever.
Offense:
QB: Manning, Carr, ( Think we can slip Carr through waivers for Perrilloux ?) 1/2 kidding.
FB: Hynoski
RB: Bradshaw, Jacobs, D. Scott, A. Brown (Put up 68 yds with scrubs blocking against the Pats 1's)
TE: Beckum, Ballard ,Jonathan Stupar ( Cut by Balt. better then anything we got)
Wr: Nicks, Mannignham, Hixon, Thomas, Cruz, Jernigan ( Dude!! hands together!!!)
OL: Snee, Mckenzie, Baas, Deihl, Beatty, Boothe, Petrus, Brewer, Meredith
Defense:
DE: Tuck, Umenyiora, Pierre-Paul, Tollefson, Tracy (Sintim RIP)
DT: Canty, Joseph, Bernard, Kennedy
LB: Kiwanuka, Goff, Boley, Jones, Paysinger, Herzlich, J. Williams (Man he looks good)
CB: Webster, Ross, Amukamara, Coe (earned it vs the Pats) Williams.(Maybe replaced come waiver time)
S: Rolle, Phillips, Grant, Sash
Very "special" teams:
K: Tynes
P: Dodge ( $ n Promise)
LS: DeOssie
pup:
Barden, Koats
Vick a Bengal!
Due to be released this Thursday GQs interview with Vick. In it .....
Vick admits that he would not have signed with the Eagles without the influence of Roger Goodell.. Is this something the Comish should have his fingers in?
"I think I can say this now, because it's not going to hurt anybody's feelings, and it's the truth... I didn't want to come to Philadelphia. Being the third-team quarterback is nothing to smile about. Cincinnati and Buffalo were better options."
Those two teams wanted him and would've allowed him to start, but after meeting with commissioner Roger Goodell and other reps from the NFL, Vick was convinced-and granted league approval-to sign with Philly. "And I commend and thank them, because they put me in the right situation."
GREAT NEWS! Sorry no sarcasm font.

Best Free Agent.
Who would you consider to be the best Giants Free Agent Signing in the last 15 years? Although Jerry Reese has done a pretty good job adding rookie talent, the jury's still out on his free agent signings. that's why...
off the top of my head I couldn't come up with to many top notch Free agent signings over the past 15 yrs,( what have you done for me lately syndrome) but after a little research Ive come to find we have a pretty nice list.
I'm sure to leave some off, so feel free to add your own.
How good can Fuels D really be?
So I decided to delve a little deeper then just your garden variety defense's overall ranking against the run , pass or total yards (which the Giants did very well in).
Here is a look at "3 and outs" and how impressive the G-Men really were with it. The rankings somewhat follow the rankings for the best defensive DVOA ratings, (Defense-Adjusted Value Over Average. Basically takes all factors into account. like weather, strength of opponent, fumbles kept or lost and so on). except that teams which get a lot of turnovers and sacks will generally rank lower on the frequency of three-and-outs. Pittsburgh's vaunted D, for example, was just average in three-and-outs per drive because of their high forced fumble and TO rate. The Giants are the exception to this rule because they led the league in generating turnovers and posted the 3rd best "3 n out"rating. Compared to Pitt ranking 17th in the same category.
Perry Fewell is known for his high TO rate, the whole D is based on it. But the fact that he has the Giants ranked 6th in "3 n outs" and 3rd in DVOA in his first season as D cord. is nothing short of remarkable.
With all the bitching and moaning about our LBs, Saftey's, Osi's inability to stop the run. TT's fugazi stats. A Ross sucking, Fewell had the Giants ranked 9th against the pass, 8th against the run, #1 in 3rd down %, tied for 2nd in sacks, 1st in TOs and 7th over all. Not sure what next yr will bring, but Fewell has us on track for a great season on this side of the ball. For how long do we get to keep him ? I can only hope.
Here's the Defensive company they keep. DVOA RANK IS THE MORE IMPRESSIVE OF THE 2.

When and if....
Lets look at the Offensive line.
Although Im for the most part OK with our boys up front, here are some options to sure up one of the few weaknesses we have going into 2011.
LT. W. Beatty LG. Diehl C. ? RG. Snee RT. Beast McKenzie
I really feel confident in W.Beatty Taking a firm hold of LT this yr. Im also pretty sure DD can move back and excel at LG. But just in case I took a look at some semi affordable " upgrades" for the G and (much needed Center position). When and if we get free agency going These guys could give the best bang for your buck.
Top of my list.
1. RG Mike Brisiel Strait up mauler.A steady clime to becoming a really good player. Ask Arian Foster how good this guy can be. Got hurt early, so could be affordable. So why do I have a RG in my #1 spot when we have a stud like Snee there? I say trade Snee while hes worth something. I Kid!! Brisiel can play LG and better then that Center. (And you know we cant have enough of them.) Versatility!
2. C. Lyle Sendlein Who? Really like this kid, yes only 27. Guy is buried and surrounded with incompetency in Arizona. No good Guards, No good RB,No good QB . Result slightly above average grades for this promising Center. Which could benefit who ever grabs him in free agency..
3. LG Evan Mathis. Real good in pass protect and great at playing bulldozer..Kid lost his job to injury, came back and played real well.Still a back up most of 2010. Also played Tackle 3 years in collage. So there's that Versatility thing again.
4. LG Kyle Kosier. Really good in pass protect. Injury's didn't allow him to do what he did in 2009. So could come cheap
5. C.Kyle Cook. Another guy heading into his prime. Real inconsistent . Not to concerned (See OL coach Pat Flaherty) Has real potential but some real pass protect problems. Ahmad Bradshaw (Best pass blocking RB in the game) could end up being his best friend.
Because of the CBA some may or may not be restricted FA.
Do I need to go back to the drawing board?
Antrel wasted?
No not the drinking kind.
My question is this. It seemed as though Antrel Rolle was a human highlight real in Arizona. That don't seam to be the case hear in NY. Now i know he made his 2nd consecutive Pro Bowl. Whether he deserved it or not is for an entirely different Post. AR is a play maker but IMO, through no fault of his own is no longer.
Antrel was used this year on many occasions as a 3rd and 4th LB due to the fact of those to remain nameless.(Bulluck,Goff)
For this to change things surrounding him will need to change as well . Can Sintim step up? Will Greg Jones emerge? Does someone come out of FA? Now that KP had another yr to heal can he play down low on occasion?
Regardless what the move is, I believe a change needs to be made if for no other reason then to free up the "Play Maker".
Who Drafts better?
In the spirit of draft season i thought it be fun rating the last 5 drafts(excluding last yr) from both NY/NJ teams. Excluding the bad picks and ranking the rest by grade A's through C's. A+. ranking among the best in the game. A. Pro Bowl/future Pro Bowler. A-. Knocking on the Pro Bowl door. and so on.
Both teams do it a little different Jets tend to really go after guys they like while the Giants tend to wait and find gems later. Also not rating trades because its hard to rate what can be only a rental.
JETS
2009- Sanchez B.( poor stats but still makes it happen). Greene B-.
2008- Keller C+. (still hasn't lived up to the hype,on the fringe)
2007- Revis A+. (nuff said). Harris A-.
2006- Brick A. Mangold A+. Leon B+( ST's) B Smith B+.
2005- Rhodes A. (back to his old self) Pouha C+.
GIANTS
2009- Nicks A. Beatty C+.
2008- K Phillips B- (injuries)
2007- Ross C. (hasn't lived up to 1st rd status). SS12 A. Boss B-. Bradshaw A..
2006- Kiwi B-(injuries). Cofield A-.
2005- Tuck A+ C Web B+ B Jacobs A-. (back to form this yr.)
Both teams use their methods well. JETS seem to have more bust but more top tear talent. What do you think?
Big ticket FAs this year?
Salary cap #s for 2011
As you all know, there’s a lot of uncertainty about the labor situation for 2011. These numbers don’t include what restricted free agents, exclusive-rights free agents or franchise players would count toward the cap because we don’t know that -- and won’t until there is a labor agreement in place. And, although we know there will be a 2011 draft no matter what, these numbers don’t include rookie salaries. Think along the lines of between $140- $150 in future cap space. The numbers below are only for players currently under contract for the 2011 season.
This is how we match up against the rest of the NFC East.
1.Dallas $136.6
2.NY Giants $123.6
3.Washington $115.2
4.Philadelphia $80.8
The Eagles look to be in the best shape and this is 1 of the reasons they could be the favorites to land FA prize C. Nnamdi Asomugha. That said, don't expect the Gmen to sit on their collect hands . This very well could be the year the Giants go all out, knowing the big game is being played in their own back yard..
Other playoff type team caps
Saints $105.2
Packers $129.8
Falcons $102.4
Bears $104.9
Vikings $108.4
Bucs $59.7

Not feeling good about this....
Gotta be honest guys , this don't look good.
I know things change year to year. The Bears,Chiefs and Bucs were good and 9ers, Vikings and Cowboys not so much. But for the most part you can call the playoff teams.
IMO the Rams, Boys and Eagles get better. The 49ers may be D McNabb away from being a problem. And then of course you have the main stays in The Packers, Saints and Jets......
I know its early guys , just passing some time.
| Home |
Away |
| Philadelphia Eagles | Philadelphia Eagles |
| Washington Redskins | Washington Redskins |
| Dallas Cowboys | Dallas Cowboys |
| Arizona Cardinals | San Francisco 49ers |
| St Louis Rams | Seattle Seahawks |
| Buffalo Bills | New England Patriots |
| Miami Dolphins | New York Jets |
| Green Bay Packers | New Orleans Saints |
I just need to know..
49ers fans found it hysterical in the fact that someone thinks Kevin Kolb is worth a 1st. rounder.
Guys like B Edwards , S Holmes and the list gos on forever, are going for 4th and 5th rounders . Im not being a dick, Im truly baffled as to why, who ever thinks the Eagles are going to get a 1st round pick never mind two 1s or a 1 and a 3.
McNabb a pro-bowler with a track record only landed the Eagles the 37th overall pick .
maybe someone can edjimacate me.

F^%$*&^*&^%^%# !!!!!!
Well TC is staying,ok with that settled who gos? Quin! obvious , New QB coach? Yes.. Gilbride? i hope. .....Josh McDanials?
Free Agents
AB. this is a tough one. guy is electric but breaks down at the end of season, and i hope he handles a woman better then he dos a football. He may cost to much and if that's the case buy buy.
SS12. A must!! nuff said.
DJ Ware. Cheap and worth keeping.
K Boss. Guy has heart but i think the high ball has creeped into his head. makes the nice catch but drops the easy one. nice blocker. Dont see a major market because the concussions. Keep.
Kevin Boothe . Cheap nice back up. A little worried about his run blocking but that's why hes a 3rd stringer. Keep
Kiwi. Fuel chuckled when asked if he missed him. (what could have been) injuries will make him a much cheaper resign, i hope. Keep.
David Tollifson. Cheap but if Kiwi stays he gos. Buy Buy, i hope.
Bro. Sadly it would be a neat trick to hold on to him. Had a good year . Teams showed interest this past off season. Hopefully "Landfill " will be ready .soo. hes Gone.
Chase Blackburn. Good guy to have and would hate to lose him . cheap Keep.
Dion Grant. Had a nice year. Is getting up there at 32. not sure what the deal is with C Jones . This is an unsure for me .
And then we have guys who may see the axe.
Rockey.
BJ.
Dodge.
S.Andrews.
D. Diehl
Is he really that bad ?
We all have killed Matt Dodge at one point this year, some of it justified. Most notibly is what happen last week .But wasn't The snap its self 2 feet to high and off to the right .... Many would say, But hes a professional.. Great hes also a kid, 23. I guess this is why coach C don't like giving lots of responsibility to his rookies.
Lets take a look at the #s with fan favorite Zoltan Mesco
Zoltan..................Dodge 440 Magnum
Punts. 53 ................61
Avg. 43.2.................45.3
In20. 15....................15
In10. 2.....................5
TB. 5.......................8
Blk. 0.......................1
Most the media cant believe he hasn't been cut and many fans kill him.So do we have faith that the coaching staff see's something in the kid ?
Snoopy...
When ever the pendulum swings the other way, i always think back to when i was young boy before sports infected my life. Snoopy was one of my favorite cartoon correctors (a long with Heckle & Jeckle). Every now and again i need to do this so not to throw myself in front of a bus. This is the life of a Giant ,Met, Islander and Knick fan. My highs are as epic as my lows. No need to list them, we know them well . But my point is that this is the bad that comes with the good .
Are fate is still in are hands. Win and in. every other team of note lost this sunday so things could be a whole hell of a lot worse .
And This is why im starting to feel better. This season is reminding me very much of 2007.
1.TO's , eli was a TO machine and then shut it down come playoff time
2.The D . we seen it sunday this D can impose their will . they did it then they can do it again.
3.Two bad division losses to are rival. and i really want a 3rd shot . i hope beyond hope we get these guys again.
4.Kiwi going down for the year.
5. New energetic DC
6.Big offensive loss , Shockey then SS12 now.
7. Rookies making a impact. JPP, Dodge .i know we kill him but that snap was over his head . at least he can catch them now. the kid has also dropped 16 kicks inside the 20. with a 46 avg.
This post is just some self therapy. This post coupled with my avoidance of TV and radio for the week should do me just fine. Snoopy!! ( I will now avatar my Charlie Brown tree)
Troy Polamalu Reportedly Will Miss Week 15 Game vs. Jets
Good news for you guys.

Mixed Bag
Now that we soaked up the injury bad news(knock, knock). Other wise the rest of the weeks news was good. mainly because we won. NE is are little bit of Kryptonite . Jets, (Just because) Bears and now the Pack? Of course the Skins managed to do the impossible and not complete the easiest play in a game. So thanks for that.
This weeks wish list
3-10 Detroit at 8-5 Tampa Bay 1pm
Long shot but you never know . The lions finally got over the hump and beat a good team. I dont care how, they had enough bad breaks this year so maybe the pendulum has swung. Plus the Bucs are only 3-3 at home.
10-3 New Orleans at 9-4 Baltimore 1pm
This a very interesting match-up.. Next to the Bears, the Saints are 1 of the most healthy teams in the league. IMO the Saints are a better team and are likely to make the playoffs but do face a tough road ahead . After this game they go to Atlanta then home for the Bucs....Ravens pass D is starting to look a bit suspect and not only in the Houston game. they currently rank 14 th in pass D and im worried Brees and comp. could plummet them into the 20s. Lets hope Ray Lewis and the boys can "step up."
11-2 Atlanta at 6-7 Seattle 4pm
The Falcons are gonna get in. after beating down the Panthers this week they get to play them again in week 17. Still this can have home field implications for the Giants .
8-5 Green Bay at 11-2 New England 8pm
Hopefully are good friends up north take care of business and don't start reading their own head lines.Maybe no DE Cullin Jenkins & Rodgers (He is their offense and that is why hes better the eli but i digress). unfortunately both are projected to be back for the Giant game.
9-4 Chicago at 5-8 Minnesota mon. 8:30
A displaced home game on Monday night for the vikes but home non the less. Really hoping WR P Harvin gets over his head problems.G Steve Hutchinson comes back from his thumb and TJ isn't still hiding under his bed from the a$$ whoppin the Giants put on him. Maybe incorporating Webb would be a wise move.
9-4 Jets at 10-3 Pittsburgh
This falls into the Just because column. Im really starting to enjoy Rex's clueless look on the sidelines. Not to mention the back peddling in the press conference in regard to his sideline goons. "Im the Head coach but had no ideaaa."
9-4 Giants need just win and move on.
Some things id like to see more of this week .
1. Devin Thomas in the return game
2. Becks/Hagen in the slot
3. I would like it if we can do the rout jumping instead of getting are routs jumped.
Vikings..
Im sure Ed will delve into this match-up deeper then i will. So here's a quick look at what we are up against.
Don't really care what QB plays but im guessing the egomaniac will continue his streak then either remove him self or the Giants will do it for him. T Jax could be a nice warm up for the next game against the Veagles.
What they bring on Offense. 18th pass. 8th rushing
When you think Vikings you think of this guy . A Peterson brings his 1123 yds 4.8 avg and 11 TDs to the table.
Plenty of weapons here with Sidney Rice healthy and already making plays are old friend Shank in the redzone with Percy over the middle . As of now they rank poorly in total O but this is not the same team. Harvin is a far more dangerous weapon with a deep threat, and he has that now.
What they bring on Defense. 12th pass. 4th rushing
Of course there is the Williams boys and Jarred Allen . Edwards may sit this 1 out . still a stout line. They can be had in the pass game . not sure that's good news for the Gmen because they don't posses the best pass attack as of now. This team needs not to stack the box to be affective. So a tough task ahead.
Summary
This is a big game and IMO a tough win. New coach(Been down this road before), Healthy Offense and a nasty D in front of the home crowd.. The Vikings gave the Bills a ash woopin with a back up QB no WR. P Harvin , G. Steve Hutchinson and DE Edwards. Yes the Bills are 2-10 but they play everyone close and should have beat the Steelers. I have are boys going down in this one 24-21 .
Thanks for nothing..
Not that it was expected but we got little help this week in are playoff push. It was nice seeing TB getting dumped. And the loss of corner A. Talib and Center Jeff Faine are big blows to any hopes of them recovering. But never say never they have a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way. Never the less we are the 6th seed and are fate is in are own hands.
This weeks wish list.
7-5 Tampa Bay at 5-7 Washington
Redskins. Pretty obvious after seeing this team first hand i don't see how this game is even close. Maybe they let "Big Fat " play this week and some of their secondary gets healthy . unlikely to pull this 1 out of their A$$.
10-2 Atlanta at 1-11 Carolina
Panthers. Ha Ha moving on.
8-4 Green Bay at 2-10 Detroit
Lions. Moving on. (GB takes another hit with Cullin Jenkins going down with a calf)
10-2 New England at 9-3 Chicago
Patriots. Now your talking. Gonna be a big fan of this club for some time . They are 1-0 after thumping the jets and have the Pack after this.
6-6 St Louis at 9-3 New Orleans
Rams. Saints are a strange bunch. 1 week they look like world beaters the next ,not so much. Maybe Spags can dial something up this week. (Mr Robbins has bounced back nicely this year. 20 Tackles 5 Sacks 1 FF)
8-4 Philadelphia at 4-8 Dallas
Cowboys. Yes we again will be Cowboy fans this week. loving how they are screwing them selves out of what was thought to be a top 10 pick. Unfortunately they are banged up. losing the Dynamic Dez Bryant for the year also DBs O Scandrick and M Jenkins. Both are ?s.
We head to Minn. this week and it wont be easy . The Vikes bring a stout D and 4 of their 5 wins came at home. But D travels and although it frustrates me some times, the Giants D is pretty good. Fuel when asked what his style of D would bring to the Giants replied "More opportunities for turnovers." Giants lead the league in takeaways. Sadly he maybe 1 and done. I have a feeling a team like Denver could pluck him up.
Oh priority #1 in the off season getting a stud corner opposite CW . Ross is garbage (maybe garbage is a little strong) and TT is a nice Nickle. (After signing are own)
Almost perfect Weekend...
Back on top and in the playoffs ,for now. With the exception of the cowboys needing to beat the Saints. Teams that had to lose lost.
this weeks wish list .
Houston 5-6 at. Philadelphia 7-4.
TEXANS. Pretty simple here . Texans horrible D vs the Eagles stout O. The good news is The commish factored in that most people out side of these two city's wouldn't watch if the best player in the game had to sit it out for doing what every Giant fan wishes he could have done (with as much efficiency as Mr. Johnson did) to the clown that is Cortney Finnegan.
New Orleans 8-3 vs. Cincinnati 2-9
BUNGLES. Obvious. Its a real reach but this is the NFL. Any Given Sunday.
San Fran. at Green Bay.
49ERS. Fortunately only 1 team is gonna come out of this cesspool of a division that is the west..9ers are only a game out so they will bring their A game. Thats all based on them beating a sad Arizona team.
8-3 Chicago at. 2-9 Detroit.
LIONS. Ive been pulling for the Bears till this point. You know the whole quality win thing for us. Thats over, these guys need to crash and burn and that starts this weekend.
Atlanta 9-2 at Tampa Bay 7-4
FALCONS. This is the only game with some question to it. In my estimation 2 teams are coming out of the south . Them being the Saints and Falcons . They look solid to me . So ill concede going for home field and settle for knocking the Bucs out of the playoff picture.
Hope that's all good with you guys..
How we get there..
Gobble Gobble..
At 6-4 and the teams we are competing against having better records, we are gonna need some help. With Chicago and Tampa being the weak links IMO. We have 2 legit scenarios. #1. pull hard against the Eagles. Not a very likely falter, they seem solid. 2# And the more likely of the two. The Bucs and Bears need to crash and burn.
Here is how .
Chicago - (W 7-3 Eagles.) (L @ 2-9 lions.) (L 9-2 NE.) (L @ 3-7 Minnisota. ) (W 9-2 Jets .) (L @ 8-2 GB. ) Finish 9-7
Tampa - (L @ 7-3 Ravens). ( L 9-2 Atl.) (W @ 5-5 Wash.) (W 2-9 Lions.)(L 5-5 Seattle.) (L @ 8-3 Saints.) Finish 9-7
Eagles - ( L @ 7-3 Bears.)(W 4-6 Hou.) (W @ 3-8 Cows. )(L @ 6-4 Giants.) (W 3-7 Minn. )(W Cows 3-8.) Finish 11-5
Giants - (W 6-4 Jags. )(W 5-5 Skins.)(L @ 3-7 Vikes.)(W 7-3 Eagles.)(L @ 7-3 GB.)(W @ 5-5 Redskins.) Finish 10-6
A little wishful thinking is involved but plausible through strength of schedule. The scheduling gods also gave us a break while are troops heal . Hopefully S Smith, H Nicks and the Oline come back in time for the Last 3 games . And maybe just maybe we can learn to stop fumbling. Im thinking if A Peterson can have 0 fumbles this year anything is possible.
