While channel surfing between "The Office" rerun and The Frozen Four, I noticed on ESPNU that they were replaying the Music City Bowl between UNC and TN.  As much as we can't wait for labor day weekend to arrive, any football being shown on tv, (no matter who it is, well except Jeffrey Lee's team), is music to my eyes.  So, I did a quick search on what ESPNU as to what was showing and low and behold, two Alabama games on the horizon, as well as several SEC spring games.  They are replaying the 2010 NCG and the Capital One Bowl in the next few days.  So, get your TIVO on and get a taste of things to come...also, noticed...no auburn games....must be a conspiracy.

I am starting to see some resemblance to Charlie Sheen.  I like one of the quotes saying that the starting QB has now been determined by default.  Granted it's not 2-1/12 men...and Garcia cannot really say "Winning."  But there are comparisons.  Does he have his own USCe goddesses? Has he called into any local radio shows yet?  Please LSUfreek...make some good art out of this.  You can't make this stuff up.

Hey RBR-ers.  I am definitely liking the new logo.  Would you be able to produce it on a t-shirt to sell by chance?  I am sure I would not be the only one to purchase one.  I am not sure if the site has tried to sell anything, becuase i am sure e-commerce can get cumbersome.  We RBR faithful who check the site religously would be proud to spread the good word of RBR by wearing an official shirt.

Since I am on a budget, I do not subscribe to BamaOnline.com, but Shane Youngblood, per his tweet teased with this lead and I am itching to know who he is talking about.  Also, does anyone know who made official visits to the Capstone this weekend?

From the USCe tweets, it sounds like Clowney is having a good time in Columbia.  I know you guys have mosly given up on getting him, but as Jim Carrey's character says in Dumb & Dumber, "So, you're saying there's a chance!"

I was also searching today through RBR to see what the latest was on our recruitment of J. Clowney and came across this post from September regarding USC-east getting a LOI from the NCAA.  Has anyone heard anymore of this or what it was actually about?  The letter was not specific.

IMO - You cannot start on a mountain and expect to stay there.I beleive the key is to look for another mountain to climb.  No mountain is the same.  No mountain has the same path.  I trully believe this team's identity will now come to form.  I expect new leaders to emerge and lead the way and I fully expect todays practice to be the turning point in this team's season.

Per Chase Goodbread, Saban is hopeful for a decision regarding Marcell Dareus by Friday. So, what would a phone call from Coach Saban to the main office of the NCAA sound like?

It was a clever move to bring Shaun Wright-Phillips on for 15 minutes. The Americans were stunned, thinking Gary Coleman had come back to life.

Someone may have posted something like this already, but I was thinking of the NFL Draft and how it has an effect on college recruiting.  This is probably the largest class of UA players to be drafted in a while, and it is still not finished.  The dream for most high school players is to make it to the NFL.  This NFL draft being shown in prime-time is just feeding the madness that is college recruiting.  If I were a high school student football player and I am wanting to make it to the NFL, would not one of things I consider be what teams are producing the most draft picks each year? 

Thus, at this point, I think we have 5 players drafted so far.  This is a major step forward in the PROCESS of turning out studs and amazing athletes at UA, who are ready to compete at the premier level.  Even the comments by some of the NFL coaches and general managers about our players is a direct result of the best coaches and staff in the present time.  We have THE reputation and THE PROCESS.
