born and raised in south city st. louis. relocated to seattle in early 2007, just after the cards took the series. i've found surrogates for everything else I loved while living in STL, except cardinal baseball (it will be a cold day in baseball hell when I recognize the AL as an acceptable form of entertainment).

as the media we turn to for our sports, music, and news transitions to newer formats, we find our source of information to be more customizable by the day. waning are the days of suffering through mainstream radio's rotation of three sheryl crow songs per hour, sugar-coated post dispatch articles and espn-grade crap. we have mp3 playlists, deadspin...oh, and twitter. we have twitter.
