Congrats to SUH for his monster rookie season!! Hopefully the Lions can carry over the momentum of this season into the next and make some serious noise. The NFL won't have us to kick around anymore!

As a side note, the Lions now have the most ROY awards of any team in the NFL with 7. Congrats guys!

Finally! According to NFL.com, "Quarterback Brett Favre has informed the Minnesota Vikings he will not return for a second season with the team, a person with knowledge of the situation tells The Associated Press.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity Tuesday morning because the team had not made an official announcement. The person says the 40-year-old Favre called coach Brad Childress to say his injured ankle is not responding as well to surgery and rehabilitation as he had hoped."

According to the Lions official website, Dre Bly has signed a 2 year deal with Detroit.

Given Bly's hot and cold play over the years, I'm not sure how excited to get about this, especially after watching him get burned on a Prime Time impression last season in San Fran.
