2012 Over/Under/Never Spring Training Results
It was but a month ago when you reported to camp for Spring Training, a gaggle of wet-behind-the ears, My Little Pony backpack wearing rookies, hungry prospects and wily veterans. During this month, under the watchful eye of coaches Wet Luzinski, Phrozen and TwistyWristy, you've added new picks to your repertoire and perhaps most importantly, gained more control over your dart throwing. With opening day less than 24 hours away, the time has come to find out whether you've got the right stuff to crack the opening day roster, whether you'll be sent down to the Psychic Hotline league to work on your prognosticating or if unfortunately, you've been cut from the team.

Liberty Ballers March Madness Bracket Pool
![]() |
| Uncle Jesse is ready for March Madness. Are you? |
[REMINDER! SIGN UP NOWWWW! UNCLE JESSE!]
[FP'd for prose and do-it-ness - ML]
The smell of sweat, tears and gatorade (but mostly sweat) are in the air which can only mean one thing: March Madness is again upon us! Sixty-four Sixty-eight teams, some in the national spotlight, others, flexed to the dark shadows of local TV, battle it out to see which of them will be crowned the National Division I Champions. It is a magical time when Bobcats can become Bulls, Lakers can get upset by Wizards and any player can hit the BOSSiest of game winning shots.
All of this is nothing compared to the Liberty Ballers Bracket Pool, where the stakes are higher, the air smells of chicken-noodle soup and players keep hydrated with Dongalia shots. So crack your knuckles and break out the headbands. Pull out the game tapes, sharpen your throwing darts and dust off your lucky coin. Dial up your favorite psychic hotline because it's time to see who will pick their way to the top!

Why the taco pal Trade is Awful
With the SB Nation trade deadline looming, TheGoodPhight pulled the trigger on what could go down to be the worst Blog Lorderial move in blog history, trading taco pal for Amazin' Avenue's Eric Simon and cash. At first, I dismissed this as nothing more than a joke. After all, the blogger breaking the trade, RememberthePhitans had previously been benched for messing up several game wrap scores. Alas, several other, highly reliable sources confirmed the trade. Shocked and devastated, I prepared to share my misery and anger at the blog lords with my fellow readers when I was hit by another shocking blow to the gut: they were rejoicing.
We didn't go around celebrating such trades, that was WIP crap! Yet as I scrolled, words claiming "championship", post after post belittling, ridiculing and disregarding everything taco pal had done for this blog flashed across my screen. If these sorts of things happen mere minutes after taco pal leaves, I shudder to think what the future of this blog holds. In a hope to restore normalcy, in a plea to your love of stats and sense of logic, after the jump, I give you statistical proof why trading taco pal was awful.

BLS Photoshop Contest - Win Phillies Screen Print
Big League Stew Contest - Photoshop Kevin Youkilis, win this awesome Sports Propaganda Screen Print of the Phillies "Four Star Generals" by Chris Speakman
Brad Lidge Wobblehead Night
Promoted as promised. Well done, TwistyWristy. I used it to great effect in tonight's game chatter. For a little context, inspiration came from this story in the Denver Post. - Wet Luzinski
In honor of our "wobbly closer" Brad Lidge, it's wobblehead night!
The first 5000 fans will receive a hastily, but lovingly crafted Brad Lidge Wobblehead. While they are not necessarily collectors items, they can be thought of as treasure of another man's trash.
Big thanks to perfectdepth, the creative genius in the marketing department who came up with the idea and our sponsor, Wet Luinski. Of course, we also have to thank all of our fans, who give their support to Lidge or at least boo him during ninth inning havoc to let him know you care.
