I was born two weeks late. People never ask why - it was because I was watching the World Series.
In Junior High basketball, someone passed me the ball and I shot it at the wrong basket.
In High School, I was a second baseman on the Sophomore Wheaton North High School baseball team, only to rack up three errors in one inning.
In College, I gave up playing competitive sports to pursue other hobbies (eating Taco Bell, playing video games, taking naps).
And now, because my wife can no longer handle the torturous comments like "honey did you know that the most home runs hit in one game is 4?" and "did you see Brian Urlacher sack Brett Favre?" I resort to writing about sports in the cheap seats...
