You guys seem to have a really good sense of humor here, so I thought you might enjoy this piece I penned a few days ago.  It was a hit where I posted it.

      BRONCO FOOTBALL WITH AL AND JOHN

 Al Michaels: "Well, here we are at Mile Hi at INVESCO stadium again, John. Coach Josh McDaniels has traded away Jay Cutler and appears to think Chris Simms will throw for over 4000 yards this year. I guess we'll find out tonite."

John Madden: "Yeah, Al, I'm not too sure what that coach was thinking when he wanted to swap Matt Cassel for Jay Cutler. That's what started this whole fiasco for the Bronco's...."

Al Michaels: "Matt who?"

(cut to third quarter)

Al Michaels: "Well, it's not going too well for the young rookie head coach, John."

John Madden: "It's certainly not. I don't think I even ever got that mad on the sidelines. And I darn near had a coronary every game!"

Al Michaels: "Well, Simms and the no-name running game aren't doing so well here. Oh, wait a minute, McDaniels is having another tirade on the sidelines!"

John Madden: "He's taking off his headset....what's this guy doing now?"

Al Michaels: "Oh my gosh, I don't believe this, John, ...but it appears as if coach McDaniels is benching Chris Simms and is going to enter the game himself..."

John Madden: (laughing) "He doesn't even have cleats on..."

Al Michaels: "Well, John, this is sure an amazing turn of events in a frankly, quite disappointing season for the Denver Broncos."

John Madden: "Well, he's in the huddle....(laughing)...I guess he's really mad now."

Al Michaels: "At least he remembered to put Simms helmet on."

John Madden: "Okay, he's lining them up...I guess he's really going to go through with this. You know if he throws a touchdown this will be NFL history?"

Al Michaels: (laughing) "I just don't believe it.....I don't believe this...okay he's got the ball!!! McDaniels drops back to pass......OHHHH!!!! MY....OH MY!!!!"

John Madden: "Holy smokes!!! I've never seen a guy get popped that hard before!!! Look!!! His helmet is still rolling around on the field like a marble!!!"

Al Michaels: "Uh, John....I think his head is still in it too..."

Okay....testing, testing...

   Just signed up for this website and checking it out.  I'm assuming this is the "blog" or posting feature.

   New guy....old fan of the Bronc's since 1969.  Give me a few to get oriented here.  Okay....75 word count...I can do that.  Got chased out of denverbronc.com for post the term "Miracle McDaniels".  If you guys here are that testy let me know now and I'll save a ton of grief.
