Clown ESPN writer thinks Yankees will roll over Texas
Seriously? How did this moron get a job on ESPN.com as a columnist? Unbelievable.
Jamie Benn interviewing Ralph Strangis!
Breaking news: Mike Modano selected first overall in 2010 NHL Entry Draft
According to our favorite website bleacherreport.com:
"The first overall selection in the 2010 NHL Draft, Mike Modano is one of the last players to ever don a North Stars jersey."
Would Bieksa be a good fit for Dallas?
In a recent question sent to outstanding writer Mike Heika, a fan asked Heika if it would be smart to acquire Kevin Bieksa of the Vancouver Canucks. Here is where you can read the entire article.
The Stars need to improve on defense, everyone in Dallas knows that. However, with that $3.75 million contract attached to Bieksa, with only one year remaining on the contract, would it be worth it? Plus, who would you trade?
I have a feeling that some people might throw Matt Niskanen in a trade proposal to Vancouver, but I would still hold on to him just to see if he does get his act together. Stars fans know what he is capable of doing, but the only solid play that he showed was when he was paired with Sergei Zubov. Zubov is gone and ever since he has left, Niskanen has shown to be confused at times.
So, if you were Joe Nieuwendyk, and you did in fact have interest in Bieksa, who would you trade and why?
Favorite broadcasters in baseball?
After being influenced by Eric Karros, I am here to figure out which broadcasters are the best in baseball. Ranger fans, you may name anyone who broadcasts for Major League Baseball, including Josh Lewin and Tom Grieve.
Lehtonen era officially under way in Dallas
Article written by NHL.com contributor Mike G. Morreale about the official starting goaltender for the Dallas Stars once the 2010-11 season is under way.
It's now or never for Turco
Comparatively speaking, the Dallas Stars have been quiet on the transaction front as opposed to the Chicago Blackhawks, who continue to "wheel and deal" with teams and sign some free agents. The most recent as the entire hockey world knows, is goaltender Marty Turco.
Are the Texas Rangers built for playoff success?
Pretty interesting.
Modano: A Stars fan's perspective
I will play for the Detroit Red Wings. I will play for the San Jose Sharks. I will play for the Minnesota Wild. Nah, I’m going to retire as a Dallas Star.
Recap of Turco's career in Dallas
'He was flopping around like a fish on the dock’, ‘What a mastadonic save that was.’ I can still hear Daryl Reaugh saying these things about Marty Turco.
