Fedor vs. Lesnar according to Bodog & Sportsbook.
So this caught me 100% totally off guard and I immediately had to jump on the web and see what I could find. Well I didn't find much so bodog & sportsbook must know something that the rest of the world doesn't. The odds aren't that bad either really with Lesnar a slight dog. I guess we should mark are calanders for "the biggest UFC ever" on Dec. 31st

Houston Alexander out at UFC 98
Well according to the UFC twitter, Houston Alexander has broke his hand and is out at UFC 98
"UFCHouston Alexander broke his hand. A new light heavyweight opponent for Andre Gusmao at UFC 98 to be announced quickly."
This makes another fight on the UFC 98 card that will have a replacement. This card has been plague with several injuries and this is the third in like 3 days. I cannot believe how many changes have been made to this card.

C.B. Dollaway vs. Jesse Taylor
According to mmajunkie.com Dana White has backed away from his statement that jesse Taylor would never fight in the UFC again. He is set to face the guy who replaced him in the finale C.B. Dollaway on July 19th @ Ultimate Fight Night 14.
It really doesn't bother me that White has back tracked since I think most people deserve a second chance. I actually like this fight and hope that it makes it's way to the show so I can see it.

Ultimate Fighter Finale Picks
With just a few hours before the live finale will air on spike tonight why don't we throw out our picks. There will be 5 fights for sure that will be televised so lets just go with those. Don't need to get to detailed on why one will win just keep it short and to the point. Make your picks once and we'll see how we do.
» Evan Tanner vs. Kendall Grove - Tanner will overpower for the KO win.
» Amire Sadollah vs. C.B. Dollaway - I Want Amir but I don't think he can do it twice but both will get a six figure contract. C.B. in a slugfest.
» Diego Sanchez vs. Luigi Fioravanti - If Diego wants to stay anywhere close to the title hunt he better win. Diego will out point for the split decision.
» Spencer Fisher vs. Jeremy Stephens - This should be a war where someone should get KO'd. 50/50 here but I go with Fisher.
» Matt Riddle vs. Dante Rivera - Riddle will knock him out!

Ultimate Fighter Finale
Let me start off by saying the fight between C.B. Dollaway & Amir Sadollah was a great fight showing that both deserve to be in the finale. I want to voice my regret for Amri though. He clearly had the hardest route to the finale and beat everyone put in front of him including C.B. Dollaway. He now has to fight Dollaway again due to the drunken rampage J.T. Money decided to go on.
I found myself yelling at my TV for Dana White to give Amir the six figure contract outright. He clearly deserves it and is the only undefeated fighter left on the show. instead he called back Dollaway and Tim "I'll flop on my back" Credeur to fight for the chance to reach the finale. Tim put up a good fight which went the distance but went in Dollaway's favor.
We now have to watch Amir vs. C.B. again! This is not a bad thing really just unfortunate for Amir. He'll have to beat the heavily favored and Dana White favorite C.B. Dollaway, again.
Here's hoping the fight is as good or better then their first fight and that Amir get a six figure contract win or lose. Make it happen Dana!

UFC on July 19
So the UFC is going to put on a free show on the same day as the Affliction PPV. Great counter programming huh. Oh wait according to Dana White it's not counter programming at all. Just a free show they wanted to put on that happens to fall on the same day as another companies first ever show........ Wow that some coencidence huh?
Well I might be in the minority here but why can't he just say what we all already know? "The UFC is putting together a last minute show to go up against a new competitor. We think our product is the best out there and we are going to prove it." I know it's not the right thing to do but like he has ever gone by the book anyway.
It will be very interesting to see how they do against each other.

Diaz Brother's
Is it just me or do the Diaz brother's act like a bunch of thugs? Anytime one of them open their darn mouth something rude and disrespectful comes out. Just because you are a fighter doesn't mean you need to act like a punk. Each brother is really good but they could do themselves some good be keeping their mouth closed.
Last night Nick was at it again storming into the ring after Noons defended his title who he happened to win versus Nick. I know there is bad blood between the two but I could have done without it.

My take on the "major" UFC announcement
A lot has been made of the "mind blowing" announcement Dane White spoke of last week. Everyone seems to have an idea of what it will be so here is mine.
Dana has already shot down most of the idea's floating out there right now like a network deal, buy out and merger with the WWE. Something that hasn't gotten any play is the UFC going public. This makes since to why he would want to tell all his employee's before the world. He actually makes a reference to the IFL and it already going public in a back pedal article yesterday. Going public right now with the MMA world at it's highest might be a great idea. Though the market is pretty crazy and the economy so crappy it might be a bad idea.
Either way this has to be one of the best kept secrets going.
