Petetion to Jerry Jones
Someone needs to start a petition to Jerry Jones to step down as GM....and here is one that already has almost 3000 signatures...maybe we can get it to 100,000 signatures...http://www.petitiononline.com/wantsix/petition.html
Cowboys should borrow Washingtons playbook?
I am sure I will get chided about this but, does anyone think that we should take a small note out of Washington's playbook for beating the Giants this year? Considering that they won both games?
SAM FREAKING HURD
SAM FREAKING HURD...A DRUG DEALER
So is anyone else as surprised....a freaking drug dealer? Really....at least he is no longer a Cowboy.
Something big like this would kill our team, drag them down deeper into a hole they dont need to get into. Relief is all I feel right now.
Relief!
Tony Romo, The past, the present and the future...tidbits from a rambling man
Tony Romo is our QB...this much I know. Tony Romo has the ability to be a GREAT QB...this much I have seen. Tony Romo has the propensity to make huge mistakes at pivotal moments of the game...this much is fact.
That being said, I think I finally have a grasp on Tony Romo and why he does the things he does... As we all know Tony is a UDFA, which really puts a ton of weight on his shoulders, then he plays for the Dallas Cowboys, for owner and GM Jerrah Jones, and has the constant microscopic view of his rectum that the sports world reserves specifically for the QB of the Dallas Cowboys. Can we say newlywed? There's some pressure for you, right? On top of all these external pressures he has to deal with a junky ribcage and punctured lung. I can truly say that Tony must have the entire weight of the Dallas Cowboys Stadium on his shoulders. Then he has to deal with the negativity that "fans" like myself send his way.
I know that last thing doesn't affect him but, I like to think that somehow my opinion matters....(it really doesn't)
When Tony Romo came in for the Cowboys I was ecstatic...It was one of those days that I will remember as long as any other sports moment. And he really showed me that he has the ability to be "the man" in Dallas. Of course we have gone through a ton of bumps and bruises along this journey. Instability at coach, poor drafting, and injuries have all played a huge part in Romos past...
Presently, Tony Romo is a hero...he played with a cracked ribs and a pneumo...that folks is a big deal! I personally let myself overlook the great things he has done this year when he threw those three interceptions this last week. I let myself overlook the fact that he is still a broken man. That his ribs are not healed, that with those unhealed ribs there must still be doubt in that head of his. So with that I feel like I have a better grasp of what is going on with Romo, and what needs to happen for the future.
Our future can not look too far forward with Tony Romo, maybe five years. It is time to draft, and draft high. I am not saying that we start the guy in the next two years but, with our recent QB history (Quincy anyone) we need to start auditioning QB's. Maybe we get us any awesome back up, or maybe just maybe we get that guy that can give us 10-12 years and a couple of trophies. And even this will rely on Tony Romo. He will be a great teacher, a great sounding board...a great example of what young guys need to do. He can be our future by winning games and teaching our future HOFer how to avoid those mistakes he made...
I am done...He could have been great.....but instead he is a great choker!

Dez Bryant on Cowboys Huddle
This kid is impressive!! I just watched him on the Cowboys Huddle....His main points "You have to have passion", "I love football", "I am here to learn", I take pride in my game"... He said so much that what so impressive... You could almost write an entire Fanpost about how impressive this kid is...Maybe he should be HC and GM...ha When Wade was on he looked constipated and uncomfortable....definitely not an impressive figure!!

Time for blind optimism,,,,
I am predicting that Kitna is going to take the Cowboys to 10-6 thats right guys...Playoff bound...we just got our losing done early... Unfortunately this will probably save Wades job, but it will get us into the playoffs..
WHAT IF...A division rival plays in our Super Bowl?
I am over crying for the Cowboys..I have mourned for a few days and have started seeing things a little more clearly. I have read (and tried to understand) FTIT, OCC, KDP and many other posts. You guys give insight beyond anything I could ever even hope to contribute. I have read posts from people that disgust me....I will attempt to be classy (that's very hard for me) and not use any names.
The one thing that each and everything I have read this week has given me, is insight. The insight I speak of is that I love the Cowboys... It makes me feel great watching them succeed and it breaks my heart when they fail. When I put it that way, it really reminds of the way I feel about my own family. The main difference is that the Cowboys will never care about me, they will never come to see me when I am successful, they will never pick me up when I fail, and will never put any effort into anything that concerns me... And that's OK...I will still root for them, I will still get on here and read what you guys have to say. That is what we as sports fans do...we give everything in exchange for a small piece of the successes these guys have. Its not a fair trade but, it is what we have signed up for...
Now to address the title...What if the New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles or the Washington Redskins play in the Super Bowl in our house? WHAT THE CRAP...This is seeming like something that may very well happen...
If it does, I for one just can not let it stand...I have dealt with all the crappy drafts, all the bad coaches and the Kraft Mac and Cheddar Cheese EXPLOSION of Tom Landrys house...I am not prepared for this to happen without some sort of reprisal....So I have decided to pose some questions to you guys in the form of a poll...
This is done in humor only....but, not really...but, really.
Here are a few fun photos for my own satisfaction...
Phillips Cowboys flagged more than Parcells!!
The Sturminator says so and provides proof..click the above link to read about it!!
Eatman reports Jenkins excused from practice..
Does this guy really need to miss any more practice? He is a first round draft pick (25th overall) playing like..an arena league CB. He needs to be there for every practice trying to figure out how to get rid of his tendency to get penalized.
Barber or Jones, whats your Choice?
There has been a lot of debate regarding the running back position. People seem to really be indecisive about who they want carrying the ball for the Cowboys. What most people fail to realize is that we are really lucky to be having this debate. Three running backs that could be starting for many of the teams in the NFL is quite a luxury. Yet, it seems that at times the Cowboys under utilize the backs. Is it a too much of a good thing becomes a bad thing type situation? Or are the coaches trying to keep too many people happy to the detriment of the team?
I do know that each guy brings a lot to the table and that is what I want to explore in this article.
Barber has played in 80 games with 981 attempts for 4159 yards. At 4.2 yards a carry and 44 rushing touchdowns he has shown that he is a solid running back. His ability as a receiver have also been decent with 169 receptions, 1252 yards for 7.4 yards per catch and 6 touchdowns. He has 15 total fumbles or 0.1875 per game and .015 fumbles every time he carries the ball, that is not much.. His touchdowns come roughly every .045 he carries the ball.
Barber is not really the slash and dash kind of back that breaks loose for a ton of yards. He really reminds me of Daryl "Moose" Johnston whose average was 3.2 Yards per carry and 7.6 yards per catch. Very dependable, very tough,reliable...A guys guy. One that you want in there on a 3rd and 2 or goal line situations.
Felix Jones nickname says everything you need to know about him "The Cat"... but for argument sake I will throw in a few of his numbers...25 games with 197 attempts for 1180 yards at 6.0 YPC and 6 touchdowns. Felix has 39 receptions 245 averaging 6.3 YPC and 0 touchdowns. FJ has 3 fumbles averaging .12 fumbles per game or a fumble every .015 attempt per carry. His touchdowns come every .03 carries.
What this show me is that Felix is more of a slash, dash and cut type of back...A little more Emmitt than anything else....But I think he could have AP type bursts.
Choice is an intriguing back. He has had 37 games 164 carries for 842 yards at 5.1 YPC with 5 TD's and 1 fumble. 39 receptions for 321 at 8.2 yards per catch 0 TD's. Choices touchdowns come every .03 attempts, and he fumbles .03 times per game or .006 times per carry.
Choices numbers are a little bit skewed considering his lack of playing time. Maybe if given the opportunity he would score more touchdowns or he would fumble more. Who knows until he gets the chance.
It seems to me that we have 3 good backs and each seems to be better than the other at something. Marion is the slam sort yardage guy, where FJ is the slash, cut guy and Choices numbers seem to show him as a better receiving back. Maybe Jerry could spend some of his billions to meld these guys together into one or two Super backs so we can free up one of those game day roster spots for someone else.
What do we do next year, and whatever we do who will start?
I couldn't find many morphed Marion Barber clips...but here are a few of each of their unique skills.

Kinder, Gentler Jerr Jones
Great this is all we need, Jerry Jones baby talking this team. So I guess he is now giving them messages in the locker room, and fluffing their pillows in the hotel? I thought Jones had testicular fortitude but, I guess I was wrong. He is now pandering to these spoiled lazy players and their oversized egos and paychecks.
So I guess we didn't make any trades today...that sucks
So what now? Go with what we got keep sailing the depths of stupidity? The Jets have Revis Island and we got the penalty peninsula that are the Dallas Cowboys.
Anyone else ever wish for jacket zipper failure?
Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders ponder what is wrong with our Cowboys...
They seem to think that because the boys are ranked so high in offense and defense that a leader needs to step up in the locker room... I think its a combination of leadership within the locker room and more motivation from the coaches.
It seems every time you see Wade Phillips, Jason Garrett, Tony Romo or any of the other guys they look like an ad for a depression commercial instead of being pissed that they have been losing. Then idiots like Jenkins try to put blame on everyone else....
Someone needs to step up and kick the shi* out of the rest of the guys. He needs to tell them to get their acts together and play SMART football!!
At the two minute mark of the WP press conference he admits coaching is the problem...exact words.."obviously its coaching".
Tony Washington
Other than a mistake when he was 16, why can't we get Tony Washington? Please give me insight...
Cowboy Stomp Click here!!
Ok I just won a grand on the Cowboys lottery ticket and I am feeling high on them day....
I guess this says it all...Wade Phillips would be the fool in a Shakespearean Sonnet...I think he has finally been exposed for what he actually is...

Although Romo is a fairly new QB his stats do not reflect his relative youth when compared to Aikman. Troy finished his career with a 81.6 passer rating while Romo's is 95.6 so far. In my personal opinion if Romo had an Emmit Smith and a Michael Irvin his stats would be through the roof. TO doesnt count because he was a cancer....regardless of what anyone says. I do believe with the emergence of Austin, Jones, and Choice the future of Romo is looking super bright. I think he will be a much better QB than Aikman.
As far as field generalship, I just can not see how Romo can't be considered a field general. The guy is freaking Patton out there.
The argument that Aikmans teams were more focused on run seems a bit asinine after seeing the stats. Considering their run is almost equal so far. The only huge difference I see is that Romo has way more passing yards than Aikman.
So now this will become a gratuitous display of Cowboys history.
Aikmans Cheerleaders....
Romos Cheerleaders
YAY WE ALL WIN!!
Cowboys need to be FINED and LOCKED in PRISON!
Cause killing an Eagle is a Federal offense. Read below...
Under the Migratory Bird Act, killing an eagle is a misdemeanor with a maximum penalty of six months in prison and a $15,000 fine.
I say we killed roughly 60 eagles on 3 different occasions...So we are looking at life without the possibility of parole. But on the upside we do get to play back to back playoff games.
I will remove this later,I just thought it was a bit funny...

Cheddar Explosion is a sad day in Dallas...(POLL)
Its a sad day when a corporation gets to put their dirty hands on hallowed ground. It breaks my heart that the city council allowed the highest bidder to come and sully something so iconic as Texas Stadium and its nearing demise. Where great men have done great things and even where some great follies have happened.
So when Texas Stadium implodes it will be under the name "Cheddar Explosion" thanks to Kraft Foods and their $75,000 cash and $75,000 product donation. No matter what has happened there in the past, Texas Stadium deserves so much more respect than this!
What is your favorite Texas Stadium moment? If not listed below tell us what it is.
