We didn't go for two when we scored the touchdown? It was 20-18, we kick an extra point and go down by one. If we fail to convert, we are still only down two points, but if we may it, the game would have been tied. Maybe we go to OT, may they try to win at the end and we stop them.   Or maybe we should have punched in a TD on one of the FIVE times we kicked a FG.....stupid!

I just received my Sporting News magazine and couldn't believe my eyes to see Mark Sanchez on the cover with Darrell Revis. This issue is about the 25 best Athletes under 25 years of age. Now don't get me wrong, I think Revis is a great corner and he has been elected to the pro-bowl, but MARK SANCHEZ? C'mon, the guy was not good at all last year. He had 12 TDs and 20 INTs last season, completed barely over 50% of his passes and had a 63 QB rating. So, because the Sporting News has a fixation on the Jets (they have them winning the Superbowl in their preview magazine), Sanchez is suddenly a better QB than Flacco, Ryan, Stafford, and Henne?

Almost makes me want to cancel my subscription.

Just glancing over the schedule and realized the Ross got his wish, the first Miami home game at 1:00 isn't until mid October. Now as someone who doesn't live in Florida, I can't comment on the intensity of the heat and humidity at a September game at the stadium (only been to see a game once, in December). Ross's explanation is that the conditions are too uncomfortable for fans to enjoy the game. Anyone have a opinion on this that goes regularly? I don't see the owners in Buffalo, New England or New York asking for more 1:00 games in December for the fans sake. I have to figure that the heat is something that most people locally have gained a tolerance to. It is an advantage to Miami that is now being taken away. Am I the only one thinking this? 

Anyone else feel some additional dislike for  Dave W and Nick S this morning? Two times we had the chance to have Bees playing quarterback for the Phins and twice we passed him over. I wonder if Dave still thinks Fiedler is just as good as Brees? Wonder if Nick still thinks Culpepper's bum knee is better than Brees' bum shoulder....Don't get me wrong, I am happy with the direction the team is going, I think we are going to be fine with Henne, but I can't help thinking "What if." Okay, rant over.

So, with the Jets losing, does that put us in first place? Patriots have the same record, but a worse Conference record, right? Mission 1W!!!! Again, this week shows that Brett Favre is NOT a pro-bowl QB and Chad is. In 10 degree conditions, Chad has 3 touchdowns and 1 pick and Brett throws 2 picks and no TDs! The only worry I have for next week is if Crowder can't go, we are going to be soft in the middle. Thomas Jones has been a beast this year and we can't let him run all over us.

Bring the R&R next week and let's go from worst to first!
