Silva, though, has rarely shown killer instinct in the last two years. Even his win over Griffin wasn’t devastating, though that wasn’t his fault. He hit Griffin with a jab while moving backward and stopped him.

I really have to thank my fans, but I also ask people to understand that MMA is a sport. At times, we find people on the internet losing their composure because of a fight result, which isn't cool. After all, this isn't a fight. No one walks in there to kill anyone. I always do my best to respect my opponent, and Shogun has always proven to be very respectful. Supporters from both camps should understand that we train to win, but respect is also supremely important, and that is essential for the continued growth of the sport. In the end, when the fight and the rivalry are all said and done, we'll all get together and show that we're colleagues. If we wish to take the sport to the top, we must follow this line of thought.

"I'll fight whoever they want. I'm not scared of winning or losing. I've been through all that, and I'm not hiding behind the belt. They even considered having me hand over the belt." "Ed told me that Joe Silva said something about having me give up the belt, and that things would still be pretty much the same, but I'd be free to put on super fights or fight in a different weight class. However, we thought about it, and came to the conclusion that this was something I earned with a lot of sweat and tears. It wasn't something I did on a whim, and I'm not the champion on a whim." "I think that would be disrespectful to the fans. I don't plan on giving up the belt, and I won't do it. I might lose it in my next fight or a little further down the road, but much like I won it, I hope someone else really wins it. I want it to be earned the same way I earned it."

With all the speculation concerning Pacquiao's weight and body-type, I figured this short outline will bring clarity.source-Wikipedia: 1995 - age 16 - 106lbs.2001 - age 22 - 122lbs.2003 - age 24 -...
Pacquiao won. I was completely wrong. Cotto showed up, he just didn't have an answer for Pacman's speeed, power and more importantly skill. Other than talk crap on the web with unsubstantiated sensational claims, I post drawings on my blog.
Words circulating within the "Entertainment Capital of the World" had it that Cotto is having a hard time losing the extra weight and meeting the 145-pound limit set for the match. A source...

RANDY "THE NATURAL" COUTURE! Will Randy dominate Noguiera with his greco-roman wrestling and dirty boxing?!? I don't think so! I'm rooting for Big Nog. Antonio Silva . . . here's a big heavyweight you don't here about often. I can't wait to see him mix it up with in Strikefore or the UFC. For the record, I think something was probably fishy with his allegation of steroid use. More MMA drawings posted on my blog through out this week. Any request, drop a comment and let me know!!
Here's a quick fun illustration of Gegard Mousasi. He earned $2,000 for 60 seconds - his opponent $75k. Apparently he was well paid behind the scenes. That's good to hear. Gegard Mousasi
