Here is my recap of the 2012 Randy Hundley Cubs Fantasy Camp As you can tell by my moniker, I live in Vegas so cruised down to Mesa on Sunday. The cost of the camp ($3995) includes room, the full week of camp, lunch, and breakfast (which comes with any room rental), plus a bunch of other stuff I will get to. If you utilize a uniform from a previous camp, they knock $300 off the price. The entire camp stays at the Dobson Ranch Best Western, which is the official Spring Training home of the Cubs .

April 8, 2010 First win of the season. Cubs win 2-0. Wells go six innings, almost all members of the bullpen complete their assigned duties (except Grabow, who walks the only batter he faces). Colvin and Byrd hit solo shots

April 14, 2010 Down 6-3, Cubs score four in the eighth off of LaTroy Hawkins with Dome and Theriot producing key singles. Marmol strikes outs all three Brewers in the top of the ninth. Jeff Gray gets a joke win after giving up two runs in the top of the

April 16th, 2010 Silva goes seven, no Earned Runs strikes out five for his first win of the year. Lee hits his third homer and shockingly, Koyie Hill hits a triple (2-3 for the day!). Silva also clubs a double in an eleven-hit attack. Cubs win 11-2.

April 21st Soriano misses the cycle by a double. Silva goes six and gives up one ER. Grabow is actually effective as he pitches to one guy and strikes him out. Cubs win 9-3.

April 25th, Cubs hit four homers winning 12-2 against the Brewers (now who is untucking their shirts?). Dome goes 3-4, Theriot 5-6, and Colvin 3-4. Wells goes seven innings with two ER.

April 26th Silva goes seven giving up three but in the bottom the tenth the Cubs load the bases against Bruney. A-Ram comes to bat and works a four pitch walk. Cubs win the first extra inning game 4-3. The Cubs are at .500

May 7th, Welcome to the Show Mr. Castro! Starlin’s debut is memorable as not only do the Cubs win 14-7 against the Reds, but Castro sets the rookie RBI record for a debut with six, going 2 for 5 including a homer and a triple. Grabow gives up three runs

June 20 Cubs destroy the visiting Angels 12-1, banging out 18 hits. Zambrano throws seven innings, striking out seven. Soto hits the only Cubs homer but 18 hits!

June 24th The Cubs play a 13-inning game against the Mariners in Seattle. Carlos cannot hit his marks and is relieved by Grabow who actually pitches effectively for two innings. The Great Gorzo gets the save as Byrd comes through in the top of the 13th

This is my first fan posting and I wanted to make it a good one. I attended the 2010 Randy Hundley Fantasy Camp in Mesa, AZ the week of January 24 thru the 31st. Let me tell you, this was an amazing week.
