i just saw a espn clip [rome is burning..] where they showed stan van gandy saying that magic fans are panicking and not him...went on saying that magic fans haven't seen much of playoffs so they r all panicking..

the commenter nailed the coach by saying that everyone is panicking bcoz  u cant seem to coach right and so on and so forth...

man this whole thing is going outta control for magic..

they won the first game in LA, and kicking ass today [leading by 27]. they dont have yao, mutombo. in fact they dont have any length in the post.

yet, they are winning bcoz of their ball movement, shooting, good defense..etc etc..they have the best bench..

why can't Cs do the same, at least we have perk. baby in low post..

we can prolly learn a thing or two...otherwise, we are going home

we had freakin 8 pt lead late in the fourth, and doc puts tony in the game.. i understand all about breaks for BBD, Ray but he should have pulled him out as soon as he missed the first one...the shot was reluctant shot and it was short...and he did it again...

not to mention, last two shots were taken by perkins as a jump shot. what kind of play was that. and bench, as always never showed up.

i rather have bulls win this series bcoz celtics dont deserve to go any further.

to protest some of doc's rotation/style of play

- so that tony can get more mins instead of burning out paul

- better sreens so ray gets open

- put some pressure on moore for heaven sake. and pls someone teach steph some J's

- BBD sometimes makes bad decision while in post. maybe garnett can teach thing or two..

i can go on..but Doc needs to play more of tony, put lotta presssure on mikke/steph,

after coming back from 20 pt deficit...

igudala scored the wining point 4 seconds left. they outscored 33-10 pts magic.. although howard was out for some time due to some small injury..

so the first round has been in favor of road teams..hopefullly celtics return the favor and blow out game 2. i hope it doesnt take ray 4-5 games to get into groove bcoz we cant afford that since we dont have KG anymore.

i looked at the remaining schedule, and its tough scehdule for us than orlando...

Celtics

heat, cavs, sixers, wizards....3 of them would like to keep their seed intact..wizards are the only one out.

Magic

Knicks, Nets, Bucks, Bobcats...only bobcats have a slim chance to making to playoffs, rest have no incentive to win

if we are # 3 seed, then we play philly, if #2 then bulls/pistons..what do you guys think...

i watched the game btw cavs and wizards and after watching, i believe that we could defeat cavs..

couple of things, no turnovers by wizards, decent defense and two 7 footers in wizards.

defense for cavs,

- lebron was the best in defense, followed by mo and west who put up good defense. i think they r really missing ben wallace.

Ilgauskas, wally dont have good feet, so does varejao. so wizards took good advantage of that. smith and darnell r pretty much still getting used to the rotations..

i wish we can get someone like millsap and matt harper from jazz, man those guys play hard. never seen someone so active in paint area both sides.

- offense is where they r really good at....gotta absolutely control mo, west from the arc and before they penetrate and split the defense...PP can play one on one with lebron but gotta control mo and west..also, pick and pop with IIgauskas need to be covered as well

- notorious 3 ptrs ...though u can't win with 3 pts, it does spread the defense..but tonight they were really bad...and when they are bad, it puts lotta pressure on their offense..

on a side note, lebron hit a 3 pts from almost halfway thru the court....

so to win, we need to really intensify our defense..

btw i didnt see much of smith today.

i think number 3# seed is blessing in disguise. bcoz we will be playing philly, which I think would be less taxing as we played Atlanta/Detriot.

Second, #2 [magic] will play against pistons, which i think it would have been tough for us, if we were #2.

So, I say rest KG, Paul, Ray till end of regular season and continue rest for KG till end of round 1.

Get Mikki, Steph more minutes along with Gabe, Walker. There is no way #4 seed will catch up to #3.

i was just amazed by how well he was able to shoot that...in fact when got all 3, he was then well defended, which left ray open and as always he got that 3..

on a side note, have you noticed that ray can never get the net when he has the shot wide open and he is time to shoot...he is dangerous when he catches and shoots in like split second but not when he has plenty of time and wide open...saw that with eddie as well but more with ray...

anybody know why, bcoz i luv to take wide open 3s...

in his post game interview, he said that

the moron doesn't understand that magic had 18-20 point lead before it evaporated to just 1 pt lead w/o KG, Leon, Scal, Tony and Rando not being 100%.

but i also understand why he might have said that to make sure his team morale is high..

even then, as fan of the green, i hate that statement...can wait till playoffs
