Daily Norseman E.J. named to pro bowl!!

E.J Henderson named to his first pro bowl. He is well deserving. Congratulations E.J.!!

In both 2008 and 2009, Vikings LB E.J. Henderson looked to be in Pro Bowl form until season-ending injuries derailed his chances to earn a 1st-time trip to the all-star game.

But now, following a 2010 season in which he tied for the team lead with 3 INTs and finished 2nd on the team in tackles with 139, Henderson is making the trip to Hawaii for his 1st-ever, and well-deserved, Pro Bowl.

One of the Vikings captains from 2008-2010, Henderson has led the team in tackles 3 times over the last 6 years (2004-125; 2006-142; 2007-155–career high). He missed most of the 2008 season due to injury and was leading the team with 100 tackles
in 2009 before a season-ending injury. Along with his tackles, Henderson has 13.5 sacks for his career, which ranks 4th all-time among Vikings linebackers.

Henderson joins Adrian Peterson and Antoine Winfield as Vikings going to this year’s all-star game. Kevin Williams was also named to the team but will not be able to attend.

Congratulations E.J.!
