Why Corsi really doesn't matter much

If you have ever listened to the advanced stat crowd (shot counters) you would get the impression that they have stumbled upon an alternate universe where they can predict hockey games outcomes better than anyone else. Well it turns out that maybe Corsi etc. isn't really all that much better at predicting outcomes than traditional stats like goals for and against. Check this article out and make up your own mind, but if these numbers are correct, home game advantage is a better predictor than Corsi.
