This Weekend in Chicago April 4th - 6th

I'll be in Chicago this weekend with my girlfriend for the Cubs game Saturday afternoon and we are contemplating getting cheap tickets for the Blackhawks game Friday night and the Bulls game on Saturday night.

My question is what would be the best mode of transportation to the United Center from The Willows on W. Surf?

Also if anyone has any suggestions for nightspots to check out given the sketchy weather. I've been to many sites and checked the diary posted on the frontpage but noticed it was closed awhile ago. Wanting to avoid anything pretentious, yuppie/frat bars, or bars so crowded you spend all of your time waiting for a beer. I can handle those places but would much rather go to a place without dealing with those types of headaches and where I can just chill maybe talk about the games or just whatever.

Also any place with cheap live entertainment (any music is good; jazz, blues, rock, well maybe not country) would be cool or just maybe a hole in the wall where you can feel comfortable without knowing everyone there. Hotel is close to wrigley so anything within a short cab ride or walk would be good.

Thanks in advance

Anyone got cheap tickets for Spoon friday?
