I am about to purchase an All Star Game BP jersey and can't decide which player I would want to support on the back. My first choice was Vladdy only because he is my favorite player of all time and will most likely be playing in the game. My second choice is my favorite current Angels player Torii Hunter. He deserves to play but most likely won't be since voting has already ended, but will be wearing this exact jersey when he competes in the Home Run Derby. My other thought was Weaver only because he will most likely start and is my favorite pitcher. The only reasons against Vlad is he is not a current Angels player and is destroying us with the Rangers now. Also I was thinking long term about who I would want on this jersey that will still be with the Halos years down the road. Here is what the jersey looks like.

I just saw a commerical for living spaces and they said that Torii Hunter will be signing autographs this Saturday Aug 29th. This is an early birthday gift for myself since it's the next day. I really can't believe how many Angels players will be signing autographs this Saturday. I really want to get Figgy's but its a tough decision and Torii is my favorite players other than Vlad. A new clothing line is based on the name change from Anaheim to LA of Anaheim.  The hat and t-shirt were priced pretty high here.

I like the fact that someone took the name change to heart enough to start a clothing line, but im not sure of the motivation behind it. It was also stated on one of the links that the owner of Broken Halo will be explaining the whole story about the name changing Halos in promoting the threads. I really dont know what to think of it.

ManRam is in talks with the Giants. I don't know if this really will happen but if it did could the Giants be next years contenders? They just got Randy Johnson and they do have a pretty deep bulpen. Could we see a rematch this October of the Wild Card World Series?

There is also talks about GA moving north, with a possible trade to the A's as well. I am going to miss ole cycolps. It's sad that his career is not ending with the Halos, and it will be interesting to see how we do without him.
