Bills fan in Seattle WA, been watching the Bills since I could remember. Hate the Phins, Jets, Pats, and any other team that we happen to be facing that season. Sometimes wonder why I put my self through this by being a fan, and the just chalk it up to my addictive nature to things harmful to myself, like booze.

a fan of

Seattle Mariners Major League Baseball Team

Buffalo Bills National Football League Team

Syracuse Orange NCAA Men's Football Division 1A Team

I was wandering through Tim's very lenghty list of work from the past few days and I stumbled across the above article detailing what happened when the rest of the media world decided TO didn't like the no huddle. Tim basically points out here that it is all BS, yet again (critical points in BOLD):

Owens was asked if he liked Buffalo's no-huddle approach.

"No, not really," Owens replied. "But I got to deal with it."

Then Owens laughed and explained the up-tempo style can be tough on a receiver. Plus, he missed four of Buffalo's five preseason games because of a sprained toe.

But folks are acting like this is the first sign of a pending Owens blowup.

Observers have been wondering when T.O. was going to become a headache. He still might at some point, but I can confidently say this wasn't it.

"No, it’s all right," Owens said of the no-huddle. "It just gets you a little winded. For myself, I haven't really practiced much the last few preseason games. So I’m still trying to get myself into shape, and that’s coming around.

I for one am getting sick of the National Media just assuming we are 1- incompetent 2- TO is ready to blow, get over it guys, TO KNOWS it is his last rodeo if he doesn't behave, do you think he would say he HATES the no huddle for real? Get a life National Media, or better yet, go do some real investigative journalism!

Well, Puke managed to find more work despite getting the boot from GB, too bad Flower hasn't found more work. Then again, the NFL loses too many QBs to injury every year, so with at least one of them being unemployed will probably lead to less health hazards in that area of work.

Come on Bills, get on it guys, Tyson Jackson and Aaron Curry are now signed, along with Moreno, we know what the money portions are looking like for people on the D and his area, get Maybin's agent on the horn and strike a deal this weekend. Lets send Ralph's and Bruce's induction weekend off on a real high note.

I get the Seattle Times on Sunday and found this article while I was wandering through the sports section. A nice read about Jack Kemp and the person he was beyond just being a NFL QB and a Congressman.

According to the report, the Lions will pay Stafford $41.7 million in guarantees and as much as $78 million.

OW. Especially if he pulls a Joey Harrington.

Say what you want about Mr. Wilson's choices for how to run a front office, but never, ever, question his empathy for his fellow man, and the people who in and outside the NFL have shaped it into what it is today.

Dr. Z is one of those people, and I know I will be attempting to bid on some of the items in the online auction, but I have a feeling I'm going to lose on them all. But it all goes to a good cause, I have really really really missed reading Dr. Z's columns the past 5 months, and I hope we get him back some day.

How I would handle the draft and Jason Peters *Revised*

As we all know, alot is going on with our Bills right now: Are we going to get Fred signed soon? What is going on in Peters head? Who will play LG? Who will play RG? Why won't the team just admit that you, me, they, we, are all correct in what we want done by the team? We just resigned Stroud to some decent amounts of cashola, why?

Anyhow, as it stands, if, and I really wish this was true, if I was running the Bills for Mr. Wilson right now, this is how I would approach the next month.

Note- results I think will occur happen in italics.

Lombardi feels that if Sanchez and Stafford go in the top 10, that the Bills had better get ready to field a ton of calls on draft day from teams looking to get Freeman. He also feels Freeman may eventually be a good QB, but that he needs a couple of seasons of work in the NFL before it bears out.

For anyone who leans towards "trade down" scenarios, start praying that Dirty Sanchez and Stafford go early.

Chip Vaughn Wake Forest #9 Defensive back. Kid shows some wheels, a willingness to stick his nose up in run support. Can seperate pass catchers from the ball upon impact. And some really good instincts as far as INTs, and following the play and knowing what to do.
