Turf Show Times The needs

We all know the Rams still have needs to fill and most of us believe that a backup RB is the biggest. Possible backups : Darren Sproles - versatile but has lost some speed over the last year. Jason Snelling - a power back who is also a decent if not good pass catcher. Cadillac Williams - his starting days are over but he can be an effective 3rd down back. As we all know we have some decisions to make at WR here is what I think is good scenario. We cut Gilyard and Robinson while we resign Mark Clayton and with Avery's promising speed he could be a deep threat as for a playmaker well they'd have to sign one. Leave your scenarios below

Turf Show Times Rams sign Long snapper and more about David Vobora

The Rams signed long snapper Ryan Neill

sad to say that though b/c Massey was pretty good

hope Massey will be fine after the surgery he is going to have

The Rams chose Neill over three other long snappers who worked out Monday at Rams Park, including Belleville East High and University of Illinois product Nathan Hodel.

though he is not a huge deal he is a Ram.

More News;

Vobora is back

And he gets a one-week roster exemption. He doesn’t count against the team’s 53-man roster until Nov. 2, or the day after the Rams’ game this Sunday in Detroit.

Turf Show Times Keys to Vikings Game

There are some keys to help score against the Vikings. Using tricks fakes and all that stuff

Defense:

I have seen Farve in action with Peterson and it is not pretty. play man to man 8 men in box confuse with blitzes

Make sure the secondary is stornger than usual

Offense:

Boller or Null not Bulger

Avery has to catch passes along w/ Keenan Burton

Strong OL

randomize passes & runs running to the right every 1st down has to stop.

SJ39 needs to have a big game

i say we let SJ39 pass like antwaan Rande el w/ the redskins

Also who do you think should start/

IMO I think Null should start many teams like the Lions and Jets are starting Rookie a Qb

and  think Null would have been a much higher pick if he went to a bigger college

Who should start Bulger, Boller, Null?

Turf Show Times Smart Draft Picks!

OK i'll start by saying I read about our Draft picks All of them have degrees but Darrel (his name is Darell it was messed up in college) Scott Who will soon get his degree.

Read this!

Spagnuolo said he would like to find ways to better accommodate players who are attempting to complete their degrees and has begun taking steps to look into it.

Recently, Spagnuolo asked Football Operations director Bruce Warwick to begin looking into area schools that could offer classes later in the day for players to finish up their degrees when they are done with their day’s work at the Russell Training Center.

Turf Show Times Putting together the puzzle of the draft

So many decisions at the #2 spot it's like trying to figure out who will start at a game 3 years from now. The 2009 NFL draft pick the Rams hold is at #2. So if you have a high pick how do we use it? Do we trade it or,do we draft an elite player with it? Who fits our needs and who can play every down?

Well i'm here to help figure out the problem.

Turf Show Times The new back up QB and guess it's not Fererotte more about contract

On April 4 2009 The Rams sign 27 year old Kyle Boller.  No Gus good idea they said to get younger and Gus is way older. According to USA today They signed Boller to back up Bulger and maybe to become the starter later on when Bulger is gone. I don't know much about Boller thought he was a 1st round draft pick for the Ravens. He is 27 10 years younger than Gus.

He signed for 1 year

according to Stltoday.com

"WITH THE 2ND PICK IN THE 2009 DRAFT ST.LOUIS RAMS SELECT AARON CURRY LB WAKE FOREST!!!!!

Turf Show Times Rams sign Billy Bajema!

Yes another guy locked up and is a Ram according to ESPN The Rams signed Billy Bajema. Deal is still not known but what is known why they signed him 2 words Steven Jackson. They really are building their offense starting with running. Great this is real good I have much higher ecpectations now thn at the end of the season

Hopefully they don't screw up in the draft.

Now all they must do is build the defense and they should have a much better year!

DRAFT AARON CURRY!!!!

Turf Show Times Chip Rosenbloom Interview (With Jim Thomas) This could effect the draft!

Something annoyed me when I read this

What there is one question I Really did not want to hear

Q — Is there anything new going on with respect to the potential sale of the Rams' franchise?

A — "We've said it so many times. It is what it is. We are not presently or in the foreseeable future actively engaged in looking to sell the team. Nothing's changed."

Turf Show Times Marc Bulger?

Marc Bulger is turning 32 soon. Is he good. I am not a big fan of Bulger but, he is bieng blamed for every bad play that happens. I understand yes he is a QB and they are supposed to take charge but I think the O-line is to blame.

Turf Show Times Rams sign FB Karney

the St.Louis Rams & Mike Karney agreed to a three-year, $3.6 million contract that includes $1.2 million in guarantees.

Wow I'm happy with the new front office! This is in my opnion great!!!

Great huh that maybe the reason the let go of Orlando Pace to get cap space.

Mike Karney good addition or bad

Say what you think.

A good signing

What do you think this means for Brian Leonard?

Turf Show Times Donnie Avery #1 Receiver?

In an earlier post I mentioned drafting a receiver or Pat White since Holt won't be a Ram in 2009, but I forgot to mention who will take his place. A lot of people are saying Avery can do it but, (not that i am making fun of Avery he's my Fav. Ram now) he is still young but good but can he handle it?

Turf Show Times Well Rams Torry Holt Wants to be released

From the St.Louis post dispatch

Written by :Jim Thomas

Seven-time Pro Bowler Torry Holt, a mainstay of the Rams' Greatest Show on Turf teams, has asked for his release, league sources told the Post-Dispatch on Wednesday. But the Rams still have 12 days to grant his wish.

Holt, 32, is due a roster bonus of $1.25 million March 17, so it's highly unlikely he will be a Ram beyond then. But the Rams could still try to trade him until then, meaning any potential trade partner wouldn't have to compete for his services, as would be the case if he were released.

Today marks only the seventh day of the free agency period. But more than 100 players already have either signed with new teams or re-signed with their old squad. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been committed in new contracts.
