Given that Cleveland has just about guaranteed him a spot in the rotation, it would be interesting to see an analysis comparing him pre and post elbow reconstruction...   (albeit limited sample from 2008 post surgery)

Shapiro says Pavano is guaranteed a spot in the rotation, if he's healthy.  The incentives don't kick in until Pavano makes at least 18 starts.
