Volquez...5 ip, 4 ER(all in the first inning), 7 K's, 4 BB....basically in the first inning just gave up a bunch of singles and walked two batters.

Botts 4-4, 4 singles, 2 rbi

Kinsler 2-4, two singles

Guzman 3-6, one double, 2 singles

oklahoma wins 9-4, pounded out 17 hits..after volquez was done German and Williams threw two scoreless innings each.

Good to see botts and kinsler doing their thing...hopefully both will be up in the majors really soon

I guess the Red Sox have made the highest bid on Matsuzaka. I am really dissapointed about this if it is true. I thought we had a great shot at him and i thought he would be a huge addition to our rotation. Now, the Red Sox just get better and the Rangers stay the same for now.

http://www.prosportsdaily.com/mlb/mlbrumors.html

Who should we resign?

I was just wondering, out of all our free agents, who do you want us to keep and who do you think we should let walk?

If I was Jon Daniels i would try to definantly bring back Derosa, GMJ, Lee, Stairs, Padilla, and Eaton.

DeRo - hes just tearing up this year.
GMJ - great defensively, good leadoff bat too
Lee - huge boost to the offense, whether hes hitting HRs at a high rate or not, hes still a big threat in the middle of the order
Stairs - really good pinch hitting option or lefty DH
Padilla - i would definantly think he would be a good #3 starter
Eaton - solid major league starter

I was just wondering if you guys think it's possible to bring back all these guys and if you agree or disagree with the players I hope we bring back.
