Shooting % Article on TSN
TSN put up an article today showing the shooting percentage of the best and worst players in the NHL.
Their shooting percentage numbers are based on hitting/missing the net.
There was more than one notable name from the Rangers roster.
It seems we are losing our best shooters(McCabe/Gilroy).
There are also a few names on the worst list. One of those might surprise you.

Finally an NHL 11 roster update
Well, they finally added Derek Stepan to the game. He has a ranking of 76. Also, they updated it with Redden in Hartford, and Fed's on the active roster. They did take Gabby out of the multi-player which totally blows, but hopefully they are quick to put him back in. I guess they added a total of 600 players, and updated the goalie equipment for 65 goalies.

Five reasons the New York Rangers are the worst team in the NHL
Another article on Yahoo about the Rangers. I don't want this to get any more hits, but we need to support our Rangers and let them know what's up.
The King not a Top 5 goalie?
Puck Daddy put up an interesting article on the top 10 goalies in the league. It starts with snippets from a Verses article, and then he puts up his own list.
Here's Wysh's list:
1. Miller
2. Brodeur
3. Vokoun
4. Luongo
5. Bryzgalov
6. Lundqvist
7. Backstrom
8. Rinne
9. Ward
10. Kiprusoff.
Here's Adrian Dater's from Versus.com's list:
1. Miller
2. Bryzgalov
3. Brodeur
4. Anderson
5. Luongo
6. Backstrom
7. Vokoun

My question is, how can you not rank Hank in the top 5? Your thoughts?

Sean Avery trying to help save America.
Bruce Boudreau has a new book coming out. Who cares what's in it, this is what was left out. Here are a few excerpts from the Yahoo article on his relationship with Sean Avery, and how Sean is trying to save his life.
Boudreau coached Avery for the Monarchs, and the experience ended up being a negative one. But that was tame compared with what Boudreau recalled Avery saying during Game 7 in the first round of the last year's playoffs against the New York Rangers.
"He told me I was the biggest, fattest bleeping pig he had ever seen," Boudreau said in the book. "He told me I was fatter than bleeping Ken Hitchcock. He told me I was going to die because I was such a fat bleep."
