If you ask me, much has been said about how astute Chipper Jones is about the game. He would be an accepted candidate for manager replacement after the 2010 season. As player-manager, he could play when needed and manage all season. There are many players that take advantage of his knowledge now, think how this would be enhanced in a managerial roll.  If he were named this at the start of the 2010 season, Bobby could groom him for the position.
