Colston News
Interesting news from Rotoworld....
Marques Colston will start training camp on the active/PUP list after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his knee to correct a "lingering" issue during the offseason.
It's not known exactly when Colston underwent the procedure. GM Mickey Loomis insists it's nothing serious, and Colston is expected to pass his physical soon. It doesn't sound like a major concern for the Saints, but this is a story to track in training camp. Colston's fantasy value has survived a past scope in addition to a microfracture procedure, but the multiple knee surgeries are a red flag for his long-term value. Jul. 29 - 1:13 pm et
Someone will need to step up - maybe Arrington will get more of an opportunity???

Anyways, enjoy and for those New Dats out there this article ought to give you a brief synopsis on where the term WHO DAT originated from. I am sure some of you will get a kick out of it.

Who dat say dey gone beat dem Saints?!!”
Everyone loves Bush!
NFL Network's Mike Lombardi reports that the Saints are "not even contemplating" releasing Reggie Bush, despite an impending $8M salary. Lombardi indicated that asking Bush to take a pay cut isn't even in New Orleans' immediate plans. Bush, still just 25, saw career lows in carries and catches last season, but still somehow found a way to score eight all-purpose TDs. He'll return as a change-of-pace player/punt returner in 2010.
Obviously, this is just a rumor but lets hope a true one. Bush is set for an even bigger year next year in my opinion and is needed for us to go Back to Back. Get Crunk!
Any thoughts?
We got BUSH!
Just saw this pop up on my screen and thought some of you would be interested to read:
Despite speculation to the contrary, Saints beat writer Mike Triplett does not believe the team will part with Reggie Bush this offseason.Yahoo Sports reported early last month that GM Mickey Loomis did not want to pick up Bush's $8M tab for 2010, though coach Sean Payton may have other ideas. Triplett points out that Bush's versatility is "priceless" to Payton as a playcaller, and his electric performance against the Cardinals reinforced that notion. The Saints may still ask Bush to restructure his contract.
Any thoughts? Personally, I hope one day #25's jersey will be hanging from the rafters one day at the dome. Of course that means he needs to get better but with Payton, Brees, Thomas, and Evans I think he can do it.
WHO DAT 4 LIFE!!
Tix 4 Tampa in NOLA
My fellow whodats, does anyone know a good source for tickets for the Bucs game on December 27th? I am flying in from MD that day and was wondering if scalping a ticket would be more cost effective then getting them on the information super highway (web). I need two and seat location is not crucial.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated....thanks! This will be my first time in the Dome since Rickey, Sam, Vaughn, and Pat patroled the big easy.
WHODAT 4 LIFE! Geaux Saints!
When will AA be let loose?
New member of Da Chronic here in MD. I have been a fan since the Dome Patrol terriorized opposing defenses and with the new regime now defending the dome I BELIEVE this is our year so I joined a Saints blog. Da Chonic has never failed in the past so hopefully this will be a good luck charm for our march to Miami. WHO DAT! WHO DAT BE.....DAT BE DREW BREES BABY!
Now let AA loose so we can keep Colston from double coverage....
