Since everyone loves rebranding talk so much, I thought I'd pass along this very interesting news from my friend Mr. Jake Madison with Hornets247. From his article: "Recent filings to the Louisiana Secretary of State list both the "The New Orleans Louisiana Angels, LLC" and "The New Orleans Louisiana Spirit, LLC" as reserved names." Jake has more details in the article, so go read it, but the main idea is that "Angels" and "Spirit" appear to be in the early running for the new name of a rebranded New Orleans NBA franchise. What do you think? Did you just vomit in your mouth like I did? Do you love them? Prefer one over the other? Are you still going to read this site if we have to rename it "At The Heaven"? Discuss.

Hornets lose. Again.
Not good, folks. Just reported by Sean Kelley, Jimmy Smith, and Jim Eichenhofer, Hornets guard Eric Gordon will be sitting out 2-3 weeks to rest his injured knee. They called the original injury a bone bruise and he previously missed 4 games. He apparently experienced swelling after playing in Wednesday's loss to the 76ers. With Trevor Ariza still out with a groin injury, your projected starters on the wing tonight against a very good Denver team are Marco Belinelli and Al-Farouq Aminu. Yep. We'll update with any details as soon as they come.
