If GA weren't so lazy. Since we always used to call Garret Anderson(GA) lazy we came up with a saying and a example would be like. If GA weren't so lazy he would have traded himself back to the Angels.
If Kotch were here. This started as soon as Casey Kotchman(Kotch) was traded. An example would be If Kotch were here we would have already won 100 games.
"Quientin flied out to Center"
Used as a joke whenever there are multiple identical responses to a question in a thread. It is a call back to a game thread from last year when Gameday cut out. People kept asking what happened, and the number of responses kept multiplying each time asked.

Yes i thinik 99 is better than 100 hundred.
In 2002 we only won 99 games and we know how that turned out. yes i would love 100 but i mean, we got home field, We know we are going to play the red soxs. why win 100? I say we stay at 99 and have a chip on are shoulder. 100 is fine. I just hope that on wednesday we show up.

And they started doing all these question between the three annoucers one was orel hershier and steve phillips dont remeber other guys name.
But the question came up, will the cubs win the world series? Orel and the other guy said no but guess who voted yes, STEVE (Angel Hater) Phillips, and when asked why he said its because they are the best team league, and he went on about the runs and pitching saying they have the best pitching in the league.
Then steve asked orel who would you pick to win then. Orel goes on about i think the angels will win, they have a great offense the best starting pitching in the league and the best 8th and 9th inning guys with frankie and shields.
The other guy says i completly agree but here comes Mr. Phillips(who the angels were the single reason he is now at espn and not a gm anymore) saying wellllll i would pick the angels but they have yet to get out of the playoffs in the first round(Im laughing my ass off and then he says this) They were eliminated by the redsox in 2005 and 2007, oh! wait i dont recall the red sox making it out of the first round that year against the white sox. and i do recall the angels Beating the jankees, and then winning the first game, getting screwed like jailbait in game two by mr.Doug (Flip-Flop) Eddings.
Mr Phillips has so much hate of the angels that he cant even get his stats right he is a dumbass and brings nothing to the table while talking about baseball i mean he took Ryan Zimmerman over Justin Upton in the first round of the BT Redraft of the 2005 draft.
I have already sent my thoughts the espn and request that he either learn something about this team, and take away the Jealousiy of are team and he actually talk the truth.
And he Gave us a 3rd place finish in the divison at the beggining of the season really he was only 15 games off.

The Rockies scouted right-hander Nick Adenhart in his most recent start for the Angels' Class AAA affiliate in Salt Lake City. Adenhart, who turns 22 on Aug. 24, could be the centerpiece of a Matt Holliday trade, but the chances of such a deal occurring would be slim even if the Rockies fell out of contention in the next week. The Angels are more interested in Rockies closer Brian Fuentes, and they also like third baseman Garrett Atkins . . .

Escobar to Have Season Ending Surgery:{
"As this week went on, we all felt that it was moving in that direction, to have surgery," manager Mike Scioscia said before the Angels played Oakland. "We all saw how hard Kelvim worked through spring. He was smiling when he came back to us and was in rehab starts. We all felt there was no question he was going to pitch for us in some capacity this year."
Escobar instead will have surgery sometime before the end of July to correct the pain in his right shoulder. The 32-year-old, who won 18 games last season, was first diagnosed with the injury in March but held off on surgery in hopes that the problem would go away with rest and rehab.
Possible Catchers if mathis goes down
Gerald Laird, Rangers. He's currently on the DL with a hamstring strain. He should be back this month. However, the Rangers may be on the fence about selling and committing to Jarrod Saltalamacchia as the main catcher.
Bengie Molina, Giants. The Giants are only five games out, and GM Brian Sabean said he's not thinking of trading Molina.
Rob Barajas and Gregg Zaun, Blue Jays. Both are free agents after the season, though Barajas has a $2.5MM club option. The Jays are 14 games out.
Miguel Olivo, Royals. He has a $2.7MM club option for '09. Trey Hillman has managed to find playing time for both John Buck and Olivo. Impressively, Olivo has thrown out 50% of would-be basestealers.
David Ross and Paul Bako, Reds. Neither seems worthy of a starting role, though the Marlins are said to be interested in Ross.
Ramon Hernandez, Orioles. At six games out of the wild card, the Orioles could go either direction. Hernandez isn't having a good year, but he did hit better in June. Signed through '09, his contract is a burden.
Yorvit Torrealba, Rockies. He wants to be traded, having lost the starting gig to Chris Iannetta. The Marlins almost signed him last winter, but he's not on their radar. Torrealba is signed for '09 at $3.5MM.
Paul Lo Duca, Nationals. He's become Jesus Flores' backup, and doesn't bring anything to the table at this point.
Ronny Paulino, Pirates. Paulino was banished to Triple A in June. He was raking there until he sprained his ankle about a month ago.
Kenji Johjima, Mariners. The three-year extension is looking really bad. Johjima has been abysmal this year.
"Something is causing me a lot of inflammation," Escobar told reporters. "I don't know what it is. When I throw, it's taking a long time to recover. It's taking a lot longer than normal."

The Race for the starting pitcher for the al in the allstar game is really heated as both the pitchers are having unbelivable years and i think Colonel and lee are almost the same pitcher in they get NO RUN SUPPORT and yet still win on a consitent bases, i dont know who sould be Starter both are already on the team i would guess they will pick lee since hes era is low, what do you people think![Note by WillGoAngels27, 07/04/08 5:11 AM EDT ]

I was just bored out of my mind at 12 and wondering for all the season ticket holders what is the best seat in the house(Angel Stadium), i have to say i have no idea cause of all the games ive been to there in the upper-deck which is fine the whole stadium no matter where you are you can see

Last night on sportscenter they did nothing but show gmj walkoff.
Ervin Threw a complete game 3 hitter and not even a mention that is horrible east coast bias, i mean i had to watch the philles Jay Bruce(nothing aginast him) get a pie in his face the whole hour and then talk about how the mets(overpaid) Yankees(overpaid and not deserving) yes every person knows this and has said something but his is just horrible.
