I was feeling nostalgic on the five year anniversary of that amazing team and sent out an e-mail to Brian, and he was kind enough to reply with some great answers to my questions. I know for me, Redbird Nation led me to all kinds of new corners of Web-based baseball analysis, and proved a trailblazer for sites like Viva El Birdos, which are such strong communities today.&lt;/p&gt;
