'07-'08 Camp opens in Hawaii Oct. 1-11

The Warriors open camp on the campus of BYUH in Laie on Oahu Oct. 1, 2007.  They play 2 exhibition games vs. the Lakers on Oct. 9 & 11.  Good seats are available on the following site:  www.etickethawaii.com

I'm already pumped for next season.  A 1st look at the new team.  Will they trade our promising young talent for KG?  Can we get Yi for next to nothing?  I like the team as it is, let the youngsters develop together. After seeing the summer league team, it will be great to see who will be invited and who will be signed or traded.

If there is enough interested, I'm willing to organize a Hawaiian Style picnic/tailgate for Warrior fans on this site prior to the games on  Oct. 9th and/or 11th.

Where's the Mav Trolls Now?

Just wondering what Loopy Hoopy and the other Mav trolls would have to say about the Mavs losing game #1 on their homecourt.  Maybe downplay the importance of one measly game?

They didn't come back to say congratulations, good game, etc.?  Just stunned silence, I guess.

All that talk about the Mavs preparing for a run to the Championship after last year and how the W's are just happy to make the playoffs, sounds like they and the rest of the NBA community thought this Round 1 series was a foregone conclusion.

This is a war baby, not for the faint of heart.  No wimps allowed.  The look on Cuban's face was priceless.

TNT expert commentators are basically all non-believers.  Magic is useless, no original insights.  Sir Charles must've bet on Dallas 'cause he still can't give credit where credit is due.  Kenny is starting to believe but is afraid to take a stand.  Only Reggie Miller gives props to the W's but he is in mourning 'cause his mother recently passed away.  Our sympathy goes out to you, Reggie and Cheryl.

It reminds me of 1975, after the Warriors just finished off Chicago in the 7th game to win the Western Conference Championship, Oscar Robertson (who was commentating on TV and standing 8 feet from me) said the Washington Bullets would sweep the W's in 4 straight games.  The Warriors swept the Bullets in 4 straight.

All non-believers will soon be forced to believe.    All non-believers who have been talking smack must be busy eating crow.

You Gotta Believe!  And You Gotta Love It!
Go Warriors!
