The state of the world we live in today calls for drastic, bold leadership to deal with the tyranny of the SEC and the third world anti-freedom heathens of the Big Ten. Fortunately Mack Brown is just the man we want ready, willing, and able when that phone rings at 3 in the morning.

Lehman Races To Find Buyers
I didn't read the rest of this article past the title, since numbers and stuff hurt my slow Big ELOLeven brain, but, seriously, you'd have to be some kind of Al Qaeda sympathizer NOT to invest in Lehman (which per the NYSE is traded under "FRDM").

R.I.P. Alexsandr Solzhenitsyn, a man whom without his progressive writings we may never have been able to make peace with and move beyond the cruel, sadistic inhumanities of the Mackovic era.

Abrams NOT in Orlando
Apparently A.J. failed to make the 64 player list necessary to receive an invitation to the camp. Yikes. It is worth noting that Olympiacos B.C.'s home court is called "Peace and Friendship Stadium", and it sort of resembles a giant vagina.

I'm officially putting Noel Devine and Chris Johnson on notice: say hello to Lache (pronounced "Lake") Seastrunk, from Temple High School, just an hour north of Austin. The 'Horns and LSU Tigers appear to be the early front runners for Sonic the Hedgehog here's services. It may take a few views to attune your eyes to Seastrunk's speed, but watch as Seastrunk, operating out of the Wing T(!), makes Austin-area RRISD High Schools McNeil and Westwood tackle the blank space he occupied brief seconds earlier.

Longhorn Undrafted Free Agents
A few undrafted 'Horns wasted no time finding employers. The Vikings continued their recent attempt at establishing themselves as Austin-north, inking free agent contracts with wide receiver Nate Jones and safety Marcus Griffin (think that Week 4 date in Nashville with brother Michael could have an added friendly sibling rivalry undertone to it?). Also, the Colts picked up CB Brandon Foster while DT Derek Lokey landed with J.C. in Kanas City.
A few other undrafted FA's of note: Tech wideout Danny Amendola to stay in North Texas with the 'Boys, Nebraska LB Steve Octavien to the Chiefs, Baylor LB Nick Moore to the Browns, OU's TE Joe Jon Finley to the Niners, K Garrett Hartley to the Broncos (where he could replace the immortal Jason Elam), CB Marcus Walker to the Vikes, Mizzou's RB Tony Temple and CB Darnell Terrell also to Cleveland and OL Tyler Luellen to the Chargers, KU fullback Brandon McAnderson to the Rams, and NCAA all-time leading rusher Chadron State product Danny Woodhead officially to the Jets (as mentioned by Trey Wingo during the closing stages of ESPN's broadcast).
Editor's note: Thanks for the update, WF. One thing we'll have to keep in mind is that any and all players are subject to cuts, as NFL contracts are not guaranteed. Best of luck to all the newest NFL Longhorn hopefuls, drafted or signed. --PB--
