Using this service, SI and CBS News checked all 318 Florida-based players in our sample. Thirty-one players (9.5%) had a criminal record. Twenty-two of those players had a juvenile record. Their juvenile offenses included felonies such as armed robbery, assault, domestic violence and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

This looks legit and is an insane amount of money.  I have never heard of an assistant being offered double the money the head coach he is working for to come to another school.  This may be Vandy throwing down the football gauntlet.  If Malzahn could recruit decently he could have the Dores up and running in 2 years.  I just hope all of this junk doesn't distract him from the matter at hand (Natl Champ game).

I will not deny that I was drinking the kool aid after our fast start.  Now that things have settled down and we have to retune everything its time for us to not waiver in our support for our players and coaches.  Anytime you get a new coaching staff their will be hard times ahead.  It's getting through those hard times that we have to learn patience.  There will be a light at the end of the tunnel!  We have assembled a top tier coaching staff and they will recruit top players for those positions and get the team like they want it.  I am not saying I dont question everything from time to time.  I guess I need to learn to take my own advice!!

PS.  Honestly I think our team is like a guy trying to hook up at a bar.  He keeps trying so hard to pick someone up that he fails miserably.  A person can try to be smart and sound witty that alot of times he outsmarts himself.  This analogy may make no sense.... for that I appologize.

Can anyone remember when we have had those kinds of stats 4 games into a season???  If we can get our special teams and defense up to par we will have a chance to win any game played this season!!! I'm not drinking the kool aid and saying we are going undefeated.... just that we have a good chance of beating anyone on our schedule.

If we dont have a letdown against Ball State we could technically have 1000 yards Passing and Rushing after the 4th game of the season!!!! Id really like to know the last time we were ever close to having those kinds of stats this early in the season.  I know after this game we get into the meat of the season so the stats probably wont hold.  Im still excited to see what happens next!!!!!

Now if we can just start tackling I will start smelling a very special season!!!   If we dont... I expect to start smelling lots of alcohol on my breath.

I expected alot more out of our defense.  I know we got alot of turnovers but those were more WV than our guys making plays.  I hope this was our down game on defense and step it up from here on out.  The offense was kinda blah tonight with the exception of a few big plays.  Key turnovers from WV helped our offense ALOT!!!!

Still, this was a great game to watch and a quality win.... 

One thing I have not seen being posted alot about is our stat leaders.  So I thought I would share some interesting stats with you.

42 Chris Todd, QB AUB Rating 144.2  This isnt that great but having a quarterback ranked 42nd is not bad.

6 Ben Tate, RB AUB 274 yards  Number 6 ranked running back is awesome and considering the next person....

8 Onterio McCalebb, RB AUB  262 yards  This just blows me away having 2 running backs in the top 10.

28 Darvin Adams, WR AUB  181 yards  Not to shabby

Only the number one team in the nation has more offensive production than we do right now.  That speaks volumes to me.

To sum it all up...  I know we have alot of big games ahead of us but, we are doing a great job to start out with!!!
