"Andy Murray was fired Saturday as coach of the St. Louis Blues, who have lost four straight games and have the NHL’s worst home record.

Davis Payne, the coach of the Blues’ AHL affiliate in Peoria, was appointed interim head coach. The Blues play at home Saturday night against Chicago."

Hope this is good news for the Hawks. Flyers laid an egg in their first game under Laviolette. Lets hope the Blues do the same!

Anyone on here need some passes for the upcoming fan convention? I have to go out of town this weekend. Let me know! Some Hawks fans on here have to need passes. I'm asking face value.  I went last year and was really excited to go. It's a great time. My loss can hopefully be someones gain. Born in Montreal, Quebec on April 21, 1936, Fleming played for several minor league and professional hockey teams in a career that spanned more than 20 years. He earned a three-game tryout with the Montreal Canadiens in 1959 and was traded to the Hawks in 1960 for his first full NHL season.

Sources tell TSN the NHL and the NHLPA are investigating what might have been an enormous mistake by the Chicago Blackhawks.

Chicago tendered qualifying offers to several key players this week, including Kris Versteeg, Cam Barker, Ben Eager, Colin Fraser, Aaron Johnson and Troy Brouwer, however the investigation underway is to determine whether the qualifying offers were filed correctly.

If not, there is the remote possibility the qualifying offers could be ruled invalid and the players listed above, conceivably, could be deemed unrestricted free agents because of the blunder."

If they become UFA's Tallon should be fired.... Not sending a registered letter or fax? WTF?

We'll see how this plays out I guess.
