I am a St. Louis sports fan as well as a Missouri fan. NBA I have very few favorite team's, but as Missouri has no team I am kind of a fair weather fan. BUT I love the NBA. I sort of cheer on the Chiefs, but I am a pure St. Louis Ram's fan. I am also a Boise State Bronco's fan as I was born in Idaho. I also cheer on the Houston Texan's, and the Minnesota Vikings. But not over the St. Louis Rams. I even watch FIFA soccer. I have lot's of favorite teams in soccer. Oh yeah and as a kid I was an Oakland Raiders fan. But as I grew up that died. lol

Why keep wasting picks on the line?
I've gotten to the point on this blog, where I really don't care what any of you say, when I come up with an idea. I've seen countless times, where people post their ideas and a lot of you fans, insult me, and fellow Rams fans. I remember a long time ago, the staff here on Turf Show Times, made a point to all of you, to show a little bit more respect to fellow fans. So before you go insulting my thought process, think about what your saying, be mature and rational with your comments.
Now that I've gotten that off of my chest, I'd like to share one of my pointless thoughts that have no effect on what our staff does this offseason, but I am a Madden buff, and my favorite part of Madden is the offseason. But really, It doesn't matter who our coaches are, have we not learned that drafting offensive linemen has done us no good? The last good offensive linemen drafted was Orlando Pace, he's gone now. Jason Smith was an failed attempt as well, lets hope he turns it around. What I'm trying to get at, is I'm a little tired of everyone thinking we need to build a good offensive line to be a better team. I happen to disagree. I personally think we are wasting draft picks on them. Our defensive line is fine, we'll pick up some good defensive linemen with Jeff Fisher as head coach anyways. So I'm thinking position players are WHAT we SHOULD be drafting personally.
Have we ever thought that maybe it's time we take a little pressure off of those guys? You don't think they don't hear about it? They can try and ignore it, but they are probably as tired as I am of hearing that. How about a little bit more faith in the guys we have on the offensive line? We can't just keep drafting different offensive linemen and expect them to be a good o-line. Lets draft some playmakers in the FIRST round, not the 2nd and beyond. You can't expect our offensive line to be good, when all we did was make Steven Jackson run the ball. We get playmakers and I guarantee you it takes some pressure off of those offensive linemen. Then they won't be worn out because of an all out blitz to stop Jackson every damn play. Lets give Smith one last try, and hell lets give Barnes a shot at center. I trust our new staff! They know what they are doing, after all who's getting paid millions to make these decisions? Not any of us.
Jeff Fishers NFL bucket list
I was reading about Peyton Manning and the Colts situation. In one year the Colts organization cleaned up a mess that was not there in the first place. Then I thought a little about the situation he's in and realized he's more than likely on his way out of the Colts building. I remember Jeff Fishers little Colts jersey stint at the fundraiser for Nashville's Rocketown. Then I realized Sam Bradford has little to no competition for his job, which is what I firmly believe was our problem in the first place. He came into an organization the future and was paid a hefty paycheck he has not earned. Yeah, he had a great rookie year, but that rookie year was overshadowed by his awful 2nd year. It's obvious, he needs competition. Releasing Thad Lewis was the biggest mistake of the 2011 football season. We eliminate his competition and have some unproven veteran to be his backup, which was not a good move.
So I'm here to tell you all Peyton Manning should be on Jeff Fishers bucket list. I know it's a long shot, but trading or releasing some players not deserving of huge paychecks, to get a guy like Peyton Manning to finish his career as a Ram would be wishful thinking, but I think someone like him would help Bradford better himself as a player and a leader and rally his team. Peyton Manning was obviously the CORE of the Colts and they are destroying it over an unproven Andrew Luck, who could for all we know end up a David Carr. Lets give Bradford something to worry about and be a successful team, while we help him become a better player. Peyton may be a little expensive, but he's still has some good years.
I'd like to see this kind of Bradford for our team(look at the video below), get him fired up, make him worry about his starting job, have him step it up, don't spoil the guy anymore. Give him a good backup or something to worry about.

McDaniels being able to coach in the playoffs?
I just had to get this out on this blog to share with you all. I was all excited about Josh McDaniels being our offensive coordinator and thought maybe he'd turn around his own career. Then injuries hit our team and he just didn't work out for us. I was all like "Okay, well I wish him luck in his next year, or on the new team he went to." Well that all changed when he decided to go back to the Patriots. My only problem with this, is he is able to just help out the Patriots in the playoffs. I'm sorry, but just like the players, he doesn't deserve to be there, he didn't help them make it to the playoffs, so in my mind, he should not be allowed to help them in the playoffs. The offensive coordinator who got them there should be coaching them. McDaniels and the Patriots are the new "scum" of the NFL, not the Cowboys and the Raiders. I just don't think it's right that he's able to do this when they make the playoffs. He didn't earn a chance to coach in the playoffs. But of course I'm a regular ole person living in Missouri, who has no say. But in my own personal opinion, I think it's bullish*t that he is able to jump on the Patriots wagon in the playoffs. To end on a better note, lets go Broncos!
Grand Madden Moments for Rams Fans
Being upset about the whole Pujols going to California and the Rams being awful this year, I decided to mess around on Madden, keep in mind, I have a tendency to simulate the first year, especially with the years of being a horrible team. I try and get a good draft pick in place the first year and being a Rams fan, we all know they give our team HORRIBLE ratings for our players and we always have horrible years, but at least they give Steven Jackson an awesome rating. But I went ahead and looked at my staff, decided to fire Coach Spags and then gave him a HUGE contract offer to be my defensive coordinator, and I tell you what, my defense improved quite a bit. Then I hired Jack Del Rio as my head coach and of course, left the made up offensive coordinator on my staff. (Sometimes I wish the McDaniels and Belichick guys would let Madden put them in the damn game.) Tired of seeing a weird looking bald guy as the Patriots head coach.
Anyways, lets continue on my grand offseason... So I put Steven Jackson, Sam Bradford, and Jason Smith on the trading block before the draft of free agency came around. I received an offer from two of the worst teams which these teams had the first and second pick and my Rams already had the third round draft pick. So what did I do? I traded Jackson to a team for their first round draft pick, and I traded Sam Bradford for the other teams first round draft pick. So with the new head coach, a new system, I thought it made sense to move Bradford somewhere else. (He ended up with the Bengals) When I think about that, it's actually not a bad fit.
So I had the first, second, and third pick in the first round, and I still had Jason Smith on my trading block during the draft. But since I already had the third pick, I was set up to at least get three projected first round picks. I drafted Andrew Luck, Alshon Jefferey, and Dre Kirkpatrick. I got really lucky and had Trent Richardson available in the second round of the draft. So you know how Jason Smith is still on my roster? Well lets just say because of him and his salary, I had a lot of trouble figuring out who to sign from the draft. So I just signed the first four people I drafted, and that made me pretty broke. But I figured it was well worth it. The offseason passed and before the first game I finally got an offer for Jason Smith and it was for a weak side linebacker who had one year of experience and an A for potential. So I felt pretty good about that. Everyone on my o-line got better, and I just went ahead and signed a RT who's rating was pretty bad, but he's doing good enough. So that leaves me with the next offseason to draft the o-lineman from USC. I'd have to say a part of me would LOVE if the Rams could somehow pull something like this off. But of course, that's very doubtful. I'd have to say I got lucky getting Luck and his new found Alabamians.
But I figured it'd be fun for all the other Madden gamers who are Rams fans to tell me about what you did to improve your team. So if you'd like to play along, that'd be great, if not, at least I had an awesome Madden Moment.
My personal opinion on today's game and the season ahead of us.
Today's game wasn't a huge surprise to many of us, but we've learned a lot. No longer can we base our system around Jackson as a gameplan. Reason I say this is because of injury. McDaniels will no better than to do this again. Amendola may be gone for the year, which makes me wonder if the receivers we have can carry the load. Alexander will get more playing time but will he not get hurt again? Can we really just depend on MSW, Gibson, Salas, Pettis, and an injury prone Alexander? I personally think we need to put aside this four pillars talk and go get TO. Hate on it if you'd like, but just having him on the outside is all we'd need. Pretty sure he'll respect who's team he's on. Which we all and TO know, this is SJAXs team. I don't think we should go get him or any other receiver in a desperate way because I still believe even without a new WR brought in we'll make the playoffs. Just believe it'd be a smart move to get a deep threat WR.
Shaka Smart, Brad Stevens, and Bruce Pearl
I was thinking to myself about these two and Mizzou. I wish that we could get one of these two as a head coach, preferably Brad Stevens. He just has proven a lot more to me.. But I don't think he'll leave Butler to coach anywhere. I'm not sure but I believe I heard him talking about how he's not going anywhere. A lot of teams want him as a head coach, but I'm pretty sure Brad is not leaving Butler. Now that he's taken Butler deep into the tournament shows me that he's pretty confident in staying at Butler. But I believe tonight we'll find out a lot more about these two teams. If Butler loses, I could see a possibility in him having any kind of thought about leaving if offered a job. Shaka Smart is a possibility, but I've been reading on here about him being a coast guy. So I believe if we were to get Shaka, he should be the temporary guy because of who we've recruited recently. But I'd rather not get a guy who's just gonna use us for some cash and just add us as a team on his resume. I'd rather have a coach who has a decent resume already and see if he'd fit right in. So I hope we can get him, or hell I just wish we'd get a good coach. I know everyone's so judgmental of Bruce Pearl, but I still think he'd be a good hire for recruiting regardless of if he cheated or not. It's fine though, he knows as any leader knows, that if within your organization someone cheats, guess who gets the blame for it? The president, coaches, and leaders of any kind typically get the boot. So I think he'd be fine if we picked him up. But I personally think one of these three coaches would be good fits for Missouri. This is my personal opinion.

Marcus Lattimore should be our future.
So how about we just don't draft any running backs this year, just go get Darren Sproles or some other running back who's been in the league, who's still got some speed. Because I think we should wait until Marcus Lattimore is in the draft, and figure out how to get him. So who all thinks this is a great idea? I mean I'm sure it won't happen, but I'm pretty sure this guy is going to be a legit NFL player. I mean he's quick, breaks tackles like Steven Jackson, and just about does whatever he want's in the SEC. So I'm pretty confident that he'd be worth figuring out how to get ourselves in a situation to pick him up somehow in one of the future NFL drafts.

Rams banners anyone?
Well I am in a giving mood recently and am willing to make anyone a banner when I have the spare time when I'm not at work. I am not charging for this........so SBNATION doesn't have to worry about me trying to advertise myself on here. I am just tired of all the lame St. Louis Ram's banners all over the place and want to get some bad ass banners out there. But if you'd like a Sam Bradford, James Laurinaitis, Chris Long, Stephen Jackson(just kidding, I know it's Steven..lol), Kurt Warner, Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt, and any other current or former Ram that you happen to like, then respond on this blog with the player you'd like a banner of and I'll do my best to satisfy ya. Also... If you want a desktop background, avatar, or signature size graphic, please let me know.
A deal to get Logan Mankins, and a top notch WR in the draft.
I mentioned this on another post, but I wanted to make my own Fanpost for this topic. I was wanting to know everyones thoughts on this idea I came up with.
Now we have a very good Josh McDaniels as our offensive coordinator. No matter what your opinions is about McDaniels, you know damn well how good of an offensive coordinator he is, and the energy he can bring out of players would help us out a lot. So I read the McDaniels Effect blog and he mentioned Logan Mankins, which made me realize how perfect this would sound if we were to get him. Now Adam Goldberg is okay, but wouldn't you rather have Logan Mankins?.. I mean we have so many players we could trade during the draft to move up the draft board to get a top wide receiver. I really like Mardy Gilyard still, but he would be a part of this deal that I thought up. But what if we were to trade Mardy Gilyard, Adam Goldberg, and our first round draft pick to trade up, would you be okay to this? Now I'm not sure if Adam Goldberg is going to be a free agent, but if I were the Rams I'd resign him just to do a deal like this. Adam Goldberg and Mardy Gilyard are not studs, but I think another team wouldn't NOT to this deal. Just wanted to know everyones thoughts, and what idea you have.
Is Ichiro for Colby Rasmus realistic?
I've done a lot of reading on this blog, and my own research. We've been wanting a good lead-off man, and I'm not sold on Theriot as our lead-off man. Would it be realistic to trade Colby Rasmus for Ichiro? Would it have to be a straight up trade, or do we feel we'd deserve Ichiro and some money, or Ichiro and a pitcher. I mean we wouldn't have to worry about having someone who's going to bitch about being a Cardinal or being coached by Tony La Russa, or whatever reason. I mean trading Colby would suck, as I think he's a good player whom needs to mature A LOT. I was high on him when he was in the minor leagues, so it's tough to say It might be best to see him go elsewhere. But to be honest with you guys, I think it would suck to see him go, but if I'd trade a young Colby Rasmus for a vet who still has a long time to play. Trading for Ichiro would be a good move if we were able to get a little more than just Ichiro, as he is older. Wouldn't it also kinda clear the way for Jon Jay if he'd like to be a starter one day for the Cardinals? I'd rather stick it out and risk seeing if Jon Jay is our future for a third outfielder. Here I'm thinking we'd have an older Ichiro who's still got a lot of juice in the tank, for a younger Colby Rasmus. Wouldn't it be a better place for Ichiro? You gotta think he's dying for a championship one day, and lets face it.. He's not winning one in Seattle. Heres an ideal lineup if Ichiro were a Cardinal.
1. Ichiro
2. Ryan Theriot
3. Albert Pujols
4. Matt Holliday
5. Lance Berkman
6. David Freese
7. Yadier Molina
8. Skip Shumaker
9. Pitcher
LA should go after one of the three B teams. Not Rams.
I was just watching ESPN, and Magin Johnson is trying to help get an existing football team to LA. I am still annoyed because some people still think the Rams will move back to LA. I personally would be really annoyed, as I am not a fan of any LA sports organization. Sorry to all of the original Rams fans when they used to be in LA. (lol) But wouldn't it make more sense for LA to go after a team like The Browns, Bills, or Bengals? Those teams are dying for a new scene, and something new. They should go after one of those teams to relocate. The Bengals might be the best option as they have some LA type talent. TO, Carson Palmer, and all of the other drama players. lol
We should let SJAX move on.
Jackson is a great player, and a contributer. He's done a lot for this organization, but I think it's time to trade him away this offseason for more young talent. I believe we'd be better off with a speedy back to spread the field with Sam Bradford. Jackson is an amazing player, but I just think we'd be better off without him for the future. It's obvious he doesn't fit in with what Shurmurs trying to do on offense. We use Jackson like he's a full back and just run him straight into the defense. He continues to try to do a million step backs and jukes before he decides to finally make his move just to run into five hundred defenders. I think it's time we get a fast running back who can run sweeps without juking a million times for no yards. We would be better off with a quicker running back for Sam Bradford to give it out to, to gain yards on a normal basis. Trading Jackson would give us a lot of options for other people, as we would get a lot in return for Jackson. Jackson would be better off with a power running influenced team, who's already ready for the hard nose running. I don't dislike Jackson, I just would like to see him win a championship as a showing of respect. I just don't think he'll win it here in St. Louis.
Michigan State/Missouri debate featuring Nelly
Watching ESPN 1st and 10 on First Take. Nelly and Skip Bayless is defending Mizzou as being a very good team(NOTE: Skip Bayless is a sooner fan), and it seems like a few people think Michigan State is a better football team than Mizzou is. I thought I'd mention this to everyone on here, to hear everyone elses thoughts on who you think is a better football team. Mizzou and the Big 12 conference, or Big Ten and Michigan State. I agreed with Nelly and Skip Bayless.. Which is funny that I agreed with Skip Bayless, I usually don't like anything that comes out of his mouth. But he thinks Missouri is a very underrated team, and praised Missouri. He actually predicted if we played Michigan State in a nuetral stadium that we'd beat em by 17. Which comes to make me think, I wouldn't be suprised if Missouri or Nebraska win Saturday by 17. Just not keeping my hopes up on Missouri just yet. But I really think Martinez isn't going to be passing very much, he'll be trying to escape our D-Line the whole time, which can cause us some trouble.
Tiki Barber suggests we get Joshua Cribbs?
I came across a very interesting idea over on Yahoo Sports that Tiki Barber suggested St. Louis go for. And to be honest I never really thought about him. The Browns are having another horrible year.... (Really feel they need to just change there name and city and just COMPLETELY rebuild) So what would the average St. Louis Ram fan feel about us trading for him? How about Brandon Gibson and or Mardy Gilyard and a 4th round pick for Joshua Cribbs? The trade deadline is coming up and just about nearly there, but I actually think The Browns might go for this trade. May they ask for more, I wouldn't go for it. But it's just a thought, and a great idea that Tiki came up with. Joshua Cribbs, Danario Alexander, Mark Clayton, Donnie Avery, Danny Amendola, and maybe Mardy Gilyard? That sounds like a pretty solid wide receiver core fore next year.
A lot of people are a little worried about Mardy Gilyard and well I think if The Rams proposed a trade to The Browns with Mardy involved and a 4th round draft pick. This would allow the St. Louis Rams to still go for a WR for next years draft. The WR's available in this upcoming draft are a little more promising than last year. Heres a link below of the video of Tiki Barber talking about The St. Louis Rams being a suprising team this year who should go for Joshua Cribbs. He suggested we trade Gibson to The Browns.
http://sports.yahoo.com/video/player/nfl/22510569#nfl/22432979
Lee Evans, Danario, Karney, and Fendi is all I have to say.
After watching The Rams game I was a little upset about losing. But I still think we have something here. Just like all of you, I want to blame it on the wide outs. But that won't fix anything. Lee Evans is a 7 year veteran and his stats every game this year have not been great. But he has Ryan Fitzpatrick as his QB, not the greatest QB out there. I feel he would be our best bet, as we would probably not have to give up a 3rd round draft pick or higher. Maybe a 4th or 5th round draft pick and one of our receivers should be enough to get him from The Bills maybe considering they're a worst team than we are at this rate. They have lost every game, right now would be a good time to trade for Lee Evans considering how things are going on in Bills town, and bring someone who can help out Bradford.
This would allow us to keep Danario Alexander on the practice squad and not rush things with him. But I really do think we should call him up from the practice squad and give him some familiarity with things in a real game by throwing him in for special teams. Mardy Gilyard will get a ton of more reps now because of these injuries we are faced with. But we simply need to get some WR's just so we can have more options on offense. We really need some receiving because every game people are going to expect us to run with Jackson, and lets be honest with ourselves, he's getting stopped. I really feel we need to involve Mike Karney more with our offense as well. Fendi Onobun will get his time as well, but we need to be patient with him. I honestly think we should sort of use him like Indy uses Dallas Clark because of his size and speed for a tight end. I really hope they get these people involved because Sam Bradford needs that right now. If any of you watched him in the Big 12 you'd know how valuable a good TE with speed is for him, and a good FB who's involved in every play somehow. If we don't make any moves like these, our best bet is to bring the spread offense to the NFL.. Sounds crazy I know, but sometimes change is good.
Selvie, Robbins, Hall, and Long a good full time idea?
Did anyone else like our defensive line with George Selvie, Fred Robbins, James Hall, and Chris Long? I noticed when we had all of them lined up on the defensive line that we had a lot of pressure on Matt Hasselbeck which forced a lot of errors and created that interception by Fred Robbins. I hope we see it a lot more because every time we had them on the d-line our defense played a lot better as a whole, our linebackers were able to get into coverage if they were passing. So I am just asking my fellow Rams fans if you think we'll see a lot of this in the future of this years season and do you think this would be a better 3rd down d-line formation? All we would have to do if Ryan isn't hurt is rotate him and Robbins so neither get injured. But my personal opinion is I liked that idea of putting those four together.
Rams should give Kurt Warner a call. We better do something quick.
A lot of things need to happen.. I think The Rams should fire Schumur now...Not later. Yeah I think that'd be a great move. Maybe just let Bradford make all the decisions.(Just kidding on that one) But I do think theirs one person out there who would be perfect for an offensive coordinator(Or just QB coach). He loves the St. Louis area and he's a former Ram and a future Hall Or Famer. Kurt Warner should get a phone call and we should see if he'd be interested to be a part of this St. Louis Rams organization. Now It seems a little out there, but I think it'd be a very smart move. Kurt Warner loves the game, he loves St. Louis and he did a great job being in Marc Bulgers ear after he was benched. Because of Kurt Warner, Marc Bulger had an amazing year, and when he was traded Marc Bulger played like crap. Now I believe Kurt Warner is being overlooked. Another move I am a little confused on is to why we released Thad Lewis, when we could use him and a draft pick as part of the deal for Vincent Jackson? Something better be done soon for our organization and fans. Last thing we need is SJ39 asking for a trade, players getting disgruntled, and having blackouts because we can't sell tickets.
Another thing I'm wondering is why in the hell are we not passing to Amendola? I mean he gets comparisons to Wes Welker. We need to grow some cahoonas and stretch out the field. Hell if anything we need to just give Danario Alexander a shot at a job. Or how about give Gilyard some more damn playing time and use his speed and explosion for our offense. Look at the Cheifs first game, they gave all the young guys a shot to play and they did great in there first game. Football is changing now, it's time to play young guys sooner than later. People are getting better, faster, and greater every year. These young guys want to play, they don't get paid a shit ton of money. They prove themselves they have passion. So give them a damn chance. If your going to just start Bradford now, you should just start Gilyard too.
What are we waiting for? Are we waiting to see if we can get last place again for a first round draft pick? Is this why we haven't traded for Vincent Jackson? Are we staying in rebuild mode forever? Keep this up, we'll end up firing another head coach, and bringing someone else in to fail. Something is wrong with this organization.. We need to find that blown fuze and replace it. Now..
Albert Haynesworth? Randy Moss anyone?
Albert Haynesworth:
Now before I get bashed for even posting this on here, please note that I know its highly unrealistic because I don't feel we have the stuff to trade him, and I don't even think we run the type of defense he prefers. BUT... We do have defensive tackles to spare but other than that we don't really have much to offer in a trade. But how the hell does Washington think they can get a lot out of him, when they prove they can win without him? Put him in the damn game, play him. I feel sorry for the guy, he wants to play and he has a problem that a lot of players don't have that he has to deal with. But he wants to play, and you can tell. Just watch the game against The Cowboys. I mean think about... James Hall(Should be Selvie) ,Fred Robbins, Albert Haynesworth, Chris Long would be a hell of a defensive line..
Randy Moss:
Randy Moss..... Yeah I'm sure I'll get bashed for this one.. BUT, I'm just throwing this out there. I don't think anyone has ever thought of him as a St. Louis Ram. But I keep hearing he wants to play, he's a veteran, and he clearly doesn't believe he'll be a Patriot next year. Now I doubt we have enough to trade for him, but I think it'd be a neat addition for Sam Bradford in his second year. But I wouldn't be sad if we didn't go for this one, but hey it doesn't hurt to mention something about it. If he does end up a St. Louis Ram I'll laugh. Hell I played Madden before James Laurinaitis was even in the pros and I was so high on him, that I drafted him everytime I had a chance in my Import Draft Class from NCAA Football. And a few years later he actually was drafted by the Rams. So thats why I'd laugh if Randy Moss ended up a St. Louis Ram next year.
Trade possibilities: James Hall, James Butler, Fred Onobun, Daniel Fells, a cornerback from our team. We still have Marquis Johnson on the practice squad. Who played for Alabama, why isn't he on our normal roster? lol
(I doubt any of this would happen, but just a random thought I felt I could share with everyone.)
St. Louis Rams need to sign Antonio Bryant and more..
Well in recent news, we've discovered that Avery is out for the whole season. So we're stuck with a bunch of slot like receivers. I'm thinking we would be foolish not to try to sign Antonio Bryant and give Danario Alexander a chance to start early. We have four rookie players who we should start and just run with it, and let them improve together. We need a leader in our receiving core and Antonio Bryant or Laveranues Coles(Thinking outside the box with that one) would be perfect for that role. Just think about it.. Sam Brandford, Michael Hoomanawanui, Danario Alexander, and Mardy Gilyard as the rookie core plus Antonio Bryant or Laveranues Coles. We should keep the young guys together for a long time and improve the chemistry and build on those four pillars. But I'm thinking we need a veteran receiver who's been around for a little bit to help everyone out. Antonio Bryant or Lavernues Coles fit that role.
Bryce Brown leaves Tennessee should he come to Missouri?
I remember Bryce Brown was on Missouri's radar before he decided which school to go to. Now we know we have Washington, but would it be smart if Bryce Brown were to transfer to Mizzou to be a Tiger? Probably not realistic, but he did leave Tennessee today without talking to his Tennessee Coach. But he came into Tennessee thinking Lane Kiffin was his coach, and he just up and leaves the program for USC. So Bryce Brown does the same to Tennessee. So I was just thinking he should come to Missouri. We'll need a running back for the 2012-2013 seasons, and if he came to Mizzou I'm sure he'd have all sorts of packages for him to play even though Washington's the starter. He won't come to Mizzou, but wouldn't that be nice?
T.O. should be a part of the four pillars.
Well if you have watched the T.O. show it seems like he's matured a lot since he had the show, and having counseling and crazy cool best friends. Plus you have to remember people always exaggerate when they hear something about T.O. T.O. has never been in trouble with the league, he's not involved with pit bulls, he hasn't been charged with manslaughter, not involved with firearms, and any other situation that would get him suspended..
Look at the organizations he has been with. San Fransisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, and the Buffalo Bills. Now when I think about whats been going on. I know exactly what Terrell Owens has been through. He wants to win, and listening to his interview at the ESPY's and The Lopez show, it sounds like to me he understands that he may not always win right away. He understands he needs to find an organization that he feels he can help, whether it's a young rebuilding team or powerhouse. So he starts in San Fransisco he had outstanding years, and they had good seasons. But they never got anywere, they kept losing. T.O. got to witness the Jerry Rice era. So he then decides to leave the 49ers to find a team that's winning and has a chance to go to the superbowl every year so he goes to Philadelphia, which I've done some research and I believe he may of wished he done something else.
So he goes to the Dallas Cowboys with that organization, now I understand its a huge business out there and everyone wants to win, and come on whether you hate or love the Cowboys your known, your a celeb, your a Dallas Cowboy! So I'm sure that was exciting for him. No disrespect to the Cowboys owner but his reputation isn't that great. As far as I'm concerned I rather have Mark Cuban as the owner of the Cowboys, than Jerry Jones. Now I just feel the Cowboys wasn't a good fit for Owens, but he had good seasons and he's always fun to watch. So he then heads to one of the three organizations(Browns, Bills, Lions) who are what the Patriots used to be, before they got sucessful. But it looks like to me he's matured a little and understands what he needs to do. So to me it just seems like the Oakland Raiders should be last on his list of teams he wants to go to. I personally don't think Terrell Owens, Al Davis, and Jason Campbell would be a good mix.
So my only thought was T.O. needs to break his own curse and come to an organization with youth, with new and upcoming talent and a good system that our coach has going on. I mean our team was so positive for going 1-15 last season. Everyone has committed themselves to the new system. I think T.O. would fit perfectly with the system. So for T.O.'s best of interest he would be smart if he signed with St. Louis. Now I'm a pretty hardcore Mizzou fan and saying this hurts my stomach because I'm not a big Sooners fan when it comes to conference play.... Sam Bradford is going to be a superstar, I guarantee it. I think T.O. should be a part of the superstars career. T.O. will probably either get doubled a lot, or people will underestimate his talents that some people believe are fading. He's just a kid at heart who wants to be a part of something great and ultimately win a Super Bowl ring. If he were to join St. Louis heres how our talent would look like. Stephen Jackson, Sam Bradford, Donny Avery, James Laurinaitis, Mardy Gillyard, Chris Hovan, Atogwe Oshiomogho, Jason Brown, Chris Long, and Terrell Owens. That sounds pretty good to me, don't you think? Steve Spagnuolo is a good coach, and he's kept this team intact with our learning year last year for a lot of our players. Bring in some hype to St. Louis. Let's be the greatest show on turf once more!
