High Stake Betting Taking Place on Nets Team Flights? Jordan Williams tweeted this photo. iTheres a stash of $100 bills all the way to the right of the photo. We've seen what betting can do to teams. I believe it was in memphis last year that betting on a team flight caused a major rift within the team. Should be banned IMO.

Help Billy out! 10 questions to be answered by 12/26

After 150 days of complete uncertainty, we now have so many questions that need to be answered after training camp and before Monday December 26, 2011 (likely, the day the nets open their season.)...

Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Low–Deron Williams PE "After breaking into the NBA as a member of the Utah Jazz, premier point guard Deron Williams was traded to the New Jersey Nets last season. Outfitting Williams for this upcoming season as a member of the Nets, Nike Basketball treated DWill to this clean color way of the Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Low. One of the premier Nike Basketball shoes, the Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Low is seen here uniquely displaying the New Jersey Nets’ team colors. White works most of the Hyperfuse base, while red works the camo inner liner, tongue and midsole. Navy blue handles the Swoosh, while white takes care of the DWill logo on the tongue. A smoked outsole holds everything down below." http://blog.eastbay.com/all/wallpaper-nike-zoom-hyperfuse-2011-low-deron-williams-pe/

Julius Erving Selling His Nets Rings&Memorabilia

Some of the marquis items from the collection include Dr. J's 1974 and 1976 New York Nets ABA World Championship ring; 1996 NBA's 50 Greatest Players ring; MVP trophies from 1975-76 (ABA) and 1980-81 (NBA); 1977. Along with the rest of his memorabilia with other teams It's depressing to know he's getting rid of them. In my opinion, the Nets should purchase from him all his NY Nets rings, Jerseys etc. Would make a great gesture towards our rich history, and would make a nice design for a VIP lounge at the Barc.

21. Deron Williams mysteriously disappearing for 36 hours in December, followed by a press conference in which Williams (with fresh bruises on his face) sits next to Mikhail Prokhorov and announces that he's inked a lucrative extension to remain with the Nets.

Writers Suggest best course of action for teams with 2012 FA's

+

In an ESPN Roundtable 5-5 Discussion, writers were asked what teams with major 2012 Free Agents should do. Given three options all of them suggested the Nets Keep Deron Williams or else the NETS "have been just taking a few steps backward." One suggested that the move to Brooklyn will change the losing culture of the team, but still believes that the NETS need another all star (Dwight Howard) and a veteran wing scorer, to ultimately convince Deron to remain with the team.

The Nets extended the deadline for deciding whether to guarantee Stephen Graham's contract for 2011-12 to the day before the start of the season… The Nets have the right to make a qualifying offer to forward Brandan Wright, whom they acquired at the trade deadline, along with Dan Gadzuric, in exchange for Troy Murphy. They are not expected to do so, and will allow Wright to become an unrestricted free agent

At 7.3 million a year, Gadzuric makes the list for overpaid bench-warmers

Forbes compiled an article, naming most of the over-paid bench-warmers. They realize that some of the bench warmers were deserving of their contracts at one point, but then... got old. As for Gadzuric, they point at that his situation is completely inexplicable, seeing as to how he averaged 15 minutes in his 9 year career. My first thought : Outlaw 2.0.

As NETS trend, Yahoo! takes note of battle for Brooklyn Film

+

Come on, admit it. you get a little happy when you see Kris Humphries on all these magazines, making a name for himself and the NETS. Well, this time, surprisingly, it wasn't Humphries, who was making headlines for the NETS, it was the one man all pro-brooklyn NETS people hate; Daniel Goldstein. Yahoo! headlines takes note of his battle for the prospect heights in the documentary. Does it matter? We know who one that fight!

Ric Bucher Lakers have slipped on Dwight's list for reasons beyond that. I'd rank his preferences in this order: Orlando, Dallas, NJ, Lakers. But for Orlando to keep him, they're going to have to make some serious deals, ones that I'm really doubtful they can pull off.

Oscar Robertson talks Jerry Sloan, Deron Williams, and the state of today’s sorry-ass NBA

** on Deron: I thought Williams that you had was probably one of the better guards [in the league], and because he played in Utah he didn’t get the hype the kid down in New Orleans got, or Jason Kidd…He’s just as good as any of those basketball players…I’m sure that he’s going to be picked to play on the USA team in London for the next Olympics.
