I need help from my fellow GMen fans
I've been scouring the web and I'm desperately trying to find my girlfriend a blue Giants jersey. Ok, I know, we're less than a week away, it should have been done by now. Truth is, I didn't really know she wanted one until a couple of weeks ago and funds weren't readily available. Anyway, it seems everyone and their mother wanted one for Christmas because finding the right one in the right size has become more than a chore.
The toughest thing is finding her size. She's most likely a medium, but possibly a small. She already has a white Eli jersey, and wants a blue in someone else. I've come across players like Steve Smith and Kevin Boss, but they're not on the team anymore. There's Jacobs, but I don't think he'll be back next year. I wouldn't mind Tuck, but I already have one and was kinda thinking of someone else, like Nicks or Bradshaw. JPP or Cruz would be awesome, but I haven't even seen guys jerseys with them.
I have also come across the old school Bavaro and Taylor ones for women, but she has no idea who Bavaro is, and while 56 will always be a hallowed number in Giants lore, I don't think it's appropriate to buy my girlfriend the jersey of anyone who's name has been mentioned in the same sentence as rape.
I've searched NFLShop, ESPNShop, FansEdge, FootballFanatics, TrueFanGear, eBay, Amazon, Google, Yahoo, Dicks, Sports Authority, you name it. Not only can I not find any, it's like each are using the same supplier as each one seems to show the same inventory.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to know. I don't know if this is even allowed to be posted here, but I had to try. Thanks ahead of time, everyone.
Preseason Division winners and Super Bowl Predictions
Ok, it's time to predict who we think will finish atop their respective divisions. If you want to list the entire division's order, have at it. Make your Wild Card picks and Super Bowl picks if it suits you. If you hate picking these things before the season, that's fine too. Whatever makes you happy.
As my division winners in the NFC, I'm taking (in seeding order), Packers, Giants (homer alert!), Saints, and 49ers. As my wild card, I'm taking the Cowboys and Vikings.
In the AFC, I like the Ravens, Colts, Jets, and Chargers. For the Wild Card I'm taking the Pats and the Texans.
For the Super Bowl, and it kills me to do this, but my homerism ends here: Packers and Ravens.
As the season goes on, it'll be Giants are going to win the Super Bowl, but I figured I had to make an official prediction for now.
Now, my fellow BBVers, what say you?
