Mason traded to Texans
The Jesus Strikes Back!?!
Everyday that passes we get one step closer to September 1st. As most know, this is the date rosters expand and those not brought up before this date are ineligible for the post season roster unless an injury occurs. Lets hope the Yankees are smart enough to call up Montero way before September 1st.
Knowing there are almost as many Star Wars fans here at PSA as there are Montero fans, I thought my fellow Alley Dwellers might enjoy this... A NEW HOPE

Antonio Cromartie Resigns
4 years 32 million is the numbers Manish Mehta is reporting.
Ubaldo! Shields! King Felix!
We need to make a trade for these guys!! We need to trade Montero before its too late!!! Okay with that out of the way, I see a player that could be a nice fit. His name, Reed Johnson.
The Core Four
Andy Pettitte became the first member of the core four to retire earlier today, We all agree that Andy is one of the most important Yankees but where does he rank among the core four?
Great News
So far from what I am seeing on television, we still dont have much of a chance.....
Week 17's Best Scenarios
The Jets are obviously in the playoffs which is the first part of the teams goal to win a Super Bowl. The road to the Super Bowl will be tough no matter where the games are played along the way. But their is a way the Jets could have a slightly easier road ....
Schotty
I hope today's win quiets the Schotty haters down a bit. I know he has had some bad game plans but today he came up with a very good one. I thought the plan was creative yet simple. Involving Braylon Edwards is something that needs to be done more from here on out. If anything the weak link of the team was the vaunted defense today. Now lets go take care of Da Bears!!
Swisher For Oswalt?
Joel Sherman put up a decent column in the NY POST and threw this out there as an idea. I think this move helps both teams immensely. Yanks need a starting pitcher and the Phils need to replace some of Werth's production and cut some salary. And like Sherman says, Oswalt can only be a help in getting his best buddy Pettitte to return. Sorry, I like Swisher but if I can get Pettitte and Oswalt in return for him, he is a goner. Here is the link and is it a decent idea?

Same Old Jets? Not Quite
I am as frustrated as the rest of the fanbase but lets get a bit of a grip here....
Same Old Jets...Fans
Last night's beat down by the Patriots has brought out the Same Old Jets junk once again. The fans and the media have jumped on it pretty quickly.

Yet Another Jeter Post
In 1996 Derek Jeter was named the Yankees opening day shortstop, the first rookie to do this since Tom Tresh in 1962. Since his 1996 season, Derek Jeter has cultivated an image that has made him known as the face of the Yankees and perhaps baseball itself. In just a few short weeks of negotiations, has this image been forever tarnished?
Steinbrenner, Hall Of Famer?
It was recently announced by the Baseball Hall Of Fame that George Steinbrenner was one of the twelve names on the Veterans Committee ballot. Fittingly he is joined on the ballot by Billy Martin, the man he hired to manage the Yankees on five different occasions. The question is, does George Steinbrenner belong in the Hall Of Fame?
