On the Forecheck Attendance So Far and what's ahead

Things look to be at least on par with where we were last year in terms of attendance.  My latest fear, however, is that the Bridgestone Arena capacity may be what wears the welcome out.  At 17,113, if we sold out every game, we would be ranked 18th in the league in terms of attendance.  Currently, we are ranked 20th across all teams. http://espn.go.com/nhl/attendance

I guess my concern is, even if we get to the point of selling out every game and spending untold amounts of money, are we stil pinching pennies to keep guys like Suter, Rinne, and Weber around?  Worse yet, does the 17,113 number hinder us?

On the Forecheck Predators, concessionaire close to new deal

Story from The City Paper.  I like the part where I don't have to wait as long to get a beer or a hot dog. Now if they can ease a bit off the prices, they'll make quadrillions.  Current deal is set to expire in 2 years but this is suppose to take place immediately.  I don't know if that means immediately as in this coming season or what.  Seventy Five words.

On the Forecheck Is anyone else concerned...

Is anyone else concerned that our team now no longer has many (any?) players that have competed at a Stanley Cup level?  Wasn't that the whole original point of signing Arnott?  I think that often gets overlooked.  Hasn't that been pretty much confirmed as a ingredient for winning: signing players that have a habit of winning?  I may be blowing smoke but I will say Vince Young has a pretty remarkable starting win record since signing with the Titans...and we all know how good of a quarterback he actually is.  Just sayin'.

On the Forecheck Hamhuis and cheap shots at Nashville

I can see why Hamhuis is running his mouth.  He's played in a hockey town for 10 years where hardly anything is ever reported.  Can't imagine how jaded he'll be in the coming months having never been put into a spotlight of Canadian stardom.  I honestly think he believed he could make a passing joke at our expense and no one would hear about it.  May have been true here in Nashville...not going to work out up there.  Careful, Danny.  You may be making yourself a target out there: February 17th, you come back to Nashville.

On the Forecheck Concerns with one of our goalies

I follow dellis39 on Twitter.  Anyone else concerned with how many times that dude is tweeting while driving?

"Great day for a drive...too bad the road is littered with bad drivers...move aside folks I'm coming through!!!!"

"Weirdest thing. Driving down the hwy and its sunny.  Then I hit a pocket of snow for 30 seconds and back to sunshine. had it with rain b4"

"Its rain...not snow ppl...woosah woosah......not working :|"

Throw on top of that, it seems he's got a little road rage issue.
