Matt painter and ball future

I do get why people are losing faith in CMP. Purdue is in a rebuilding year, what else could you expect.we have talent and talent coming in. Every team goes through this except a select few. The reason why the 2007-2010 recruiting class weren't to great is people didn't want to play behind Robbie jj em and lew jack. So it will take time to get back up there. CMP will get the job done. There is no way he will be fired. With our class next year and the freshmen this year. We should have a 20 win season next year. And also we don't need shooters to win, we will have Kendall Stephens who shoots lights out. I've played against bryson and basil. They can shoot to. But that's not there dominant ability. We will have the athleticism and talent. Matt painter will find for a way for our offense to work with drive first players. He will have to go up tempo.and we will have at least a 20 win season next year. I rest my case. Lol

Keep Hope because he can recruit..For eample

Kyle Shortridge: 6'2 270 pound DL..next K.Short.Just waych his highlights.
Keyante Green: lacks heighth but makes it up in size..impssible to bring down to.he is a 4 star.
Danny Etling: $ star ranked 9th in posistion from rivals could very well be a true-freshmen.
Austin Logan: great safety out of florida..Him and Ricardo allen and an up and rising Landon feichter would be a great combo to have in the secondary.

Recruit wise looking great.

WE need Nord out of here for eampaple with his presence in big ten play he has only averaged 260 yards of offense per game(excluding Iowa and Illinios.) Without him(Iowa and Illinios) we have averaged 444 yards of offense with some decent play calling.I think hope could get the job done with a new coaching staff.

Alls i hear is people(purdue fans) talk crap about about how terrible he is at what he does.At Iowa this year I had two drunks in my ear saying how bad of a coach he is..I just think to myself you go out there and do his job.HE IS COACHING B10 football..it can be very hard.He took over the coaching job of a declining Purdue program.He got us to a bowl game last year and very well could this year.All of tiller recruits have been gone for one year or are leaving this year.When he gets all of the recruits he recruited things will start to change.

But with new offensive coordinator next year i say our W/L record will be as follows: 8-4 with wins over (Cincinatti,ISU,NIU,Ohio St., Iowa,Illinois, MSU, IU.)

Basketball recruiting getting worse for Purdue?

Well i know Matt Painter gets recruits that will build as a team. and i hope it will work out.But I really don't see it happening.

2013- Bryson Scott: looks good on film..But why did he drop out of the top 100 all the sudden?
2013- Kendall Stephens: Is a pure shooter. But people re saying he is injured that could cost his career?Is that so?
2013- Basil Smotherman: No one ever talks about this guy.What is good about him?just asking.
2014- We couldn't get keita bates diop. So that year looks screwed on recruiting, i dont want purdue to subside with three star recruits.Personally, i believe Matt Painter needs to stay in the top 50 or better for recruiting for this year at least.
2015-WE NEED HYRON EDWARDS!

Round 1; Ball handling: I saw both these basketball players play, they are both good players.

Yogi: is natural with the ball like he was born to dribble, it is one of his best attributes. when i went to see him he was dribbling past double teams like it was nothing.

Ronnie: Good handling skills, above average, but i dont know if he can compare to yogi at this. but he is still a great ball handler trust me.

Round 1 goes to yogi

Round 2; Shooting/penetrating:

Yogi:Good shooter, especially from behind the arc.Hes not close to lights out what so ever though.From what i saw an average penetrator.

Ronnie:Great penetrator can attack the rim with ease, if the team he is playing prevents him from attacking the rim, he is going to hit his jump shots. He is great at both aspects.

Round 2 ronnie

Round 3; Defense/court vision

Yogi: To be honest defense is what Yogi needs work on, hes average.court vision..again average.

PU Bball line-up

This is who i think purdue will have to work with in the up coming season.

PG- Anthony Johnson Backup- Ronnie Johnson

SG- Terone Johnson Backup- Anthony Johnson

SF- Dj Byrd Backup- Donnie Hale/Jay Simpson

PF- Travis Carroll Backup- Sandi Marcius/Jacob Lawson

C- AJ Hammons Backup- Travis Carroll/Sandi Marcius

Anthony Johnson PG : I think he'll start at the beginning of the year at least because he really developed into a great player towards the end of the year last year. He will be a major weapon for Purdue, but i believe him and RJ will be sharing some playing time at the PG position.

Terone Johnson SG: Not deep in this position what so ever, we have no pure shooters, but terone johnson can get the job done, he can hit shots if he wants to, he had such a great performance during the big ten tournament and the NCAA tournament neraly averaging 14 ppg. Terone johnson is our best ATR (attack the rim) player.

DJ Byrd SF: Most definitely Purdues best shooter for next year, even though he was struggling towards the end, I think he will be our leading scorer and the captain of the team we need him to lead our team to at least a 20 win season.

Travis Carroll PF: Well hopefully he has a breakout season this year, he is the best we have at this position he needs to crash the boards, also i think Jacob Lawson and Sandi will get alot more playing time in this posistion then last year.

AJ Hammons C: He is a giant, he will be playing a major role, he will get our rebounds, put backs and all that good stuff down low. I can see him averaging 8-10 ppg as a freshman and around 7 Rebounds per game. He is a solid player.
